Abusive relationships are more difficult to end than healthy ones. Our relationship to a president who lies to us and betrays the sovereignty of the nation is, unquestionably, abusive. Bonds formed through traumatic events are far more durable than bonds forged via healthy interactions. The toady press has a great deal invested in Obama.
People outside of the abusive relationship always ask why the victim doesnt just leave. Once youve been worked over by an abusive narcissist, you no longer have the will to escape. Remember, the abuser has done so much fogging that the victim comes to believe that his behavior is entirely normal. Many victims become convinced that they themselves cause the abuse. Some are persuaded that they are the abusive ones and their poor innocent partners are the ones in need of compassion.
If youve never seen the original version of Gaslight, this would be a good time to take a look at it.
Former CBS newsman, Bernie Goldberg correctly refers to the relationship between the mainstream press and Obama as a slobbering love affair. Its embarrassing.
Fortunately, victims can finally get to the point at which the abuse becomes intolerable and reach out for help:
Obama and the media actually have a surprisingly hostile relationship as contentious on a day-to-day basis as any between press and president in the past decade, reporters who cover the White House say.
The Politico goes on to describe the character of an abusive narcissist:
The ferocity of pushback is intense. A routine press query can draw a string of vitriolic e-mails. A negative story can draw a profane high-decibel phone call or worse. Some reporters feel like theyve been frozen out after crossing the White House.

What the hell is “Meida”?
Former CBS newsman, Bernie Goldberg correctly refers to the

slobbering love affair. Its embarrassing.
ROTFLMAO!! The ‘bammer holds them in contempt becasue he knows he owns them and knows they’ve nowhere to go. They deserve each other!
A company that typically employs lots of idoits.
Its not the the “Toady Press” but the “Leghumping Press”. Lets get our descriptors correct. Toads have feelings.
Something Obama and Islamic people have in common... they both take revenge if people offend them.
Just watch.....Obama and the Media will turn on each other and attempt to destroy each other. These people will eat their own.
Maybe the guys down in the White House press room aren’t feeling the love anymore. The real problem is that they are in the worst of all worlds; they have to answer to their bosses who are back in the comfort of the news room.
They have to deal with abuse from their lover, the Narcissist In Chief.
Then they have to deal with the abuse from their “family,” the editors and supervisors, who tell them the go back to loving 0bama.
Like the battered wife, where can they go? Quit? Yeah, like there are lots of job openings in the dinosaur media.
That’s your focus?
“Battered”? Someone’s been beating Helen Thomas with the ugly stick for decades.
No one should have be subjected to looking at Helen Thomas without having their morning coffee first.
But I really love Barry, I do! I know I can change him!
“Obama and the Media will turn on each other”
You’re an optimist but I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
The misspelled words of an illiterate fall upon deaf ears.
If a person can't write basic English, I doubt I need to listen to
anything they say as they have already proven themselves to be a fool.
Yeah, it’ll be different this time.
Yeah I know.....but we can hope. Remember what they say about committing a crime? Do it by yourself. If you have a partner in crime, that partner will eventually turn on you. The more partners you have in the crime, the bigger chance of them turning on you. That’s what I’m hoping for.
The media could actually recoup a lot of it’s lost credibility if they’d just come out of their liberal stupor and stand up to this tyrannical regime.
I won’t hold my breath.
Now I’m going to say something I thought I would never say.... Good for Helen Thomas.
We all know how difficult that was.
I for one, salute you.
Thanks I needed that.
