I’m not familiar enough with AZ ... where are the Hualapai Mountains? Wish it wasn’t scheduled for the end of August. :(
LOL
I’ve always been there earlier in the year. Flagstaff on July 10th sounds good to me. :)

Insight Computers is located in Tempe, Arizona. They located there because of low outbound shipping rates (lots of trucks bringing stuff in, and leaving empty). They thought of moving but this was such a great advantage theyve just stayed there.

Dial soap company is headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ.
Discount Tire (or Americas Tire) is also headquartered in Scottsdale.
PetSmart is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona.
Stone Cold Creamery is based in Phoenix.
The infamous GoDaddy Internet (think Danica Patrick) hosting company is based in Scottsdale.
U-Haul is a long-time Phoenix, Arizona company (a couple of my cousins work there).

For the ladies (or guys looking for a Mothers Day gift) I found Queen of the Night products through Arizona Highways magazine two years ago. The scent is named for a desert cactus that blooms only one night a year.
I can definitely say that the quality of the products is high; have reordered several times. They make great gifts, too. From the website: Those who wear the womens perfume often also love the lingering essence of our scented candle in their home. This makes it an especially popular choice for Southwest gifts and Arizona souvenirs.
Also Sabaku Nature Art clothing. The name is Japanese but the garments are designed by Nancy Lenches, a Tucson field biologist turned artist. All of the garments are made in USA, not in China. Ive worn the shirts for six years and just love them. The business is a small one run by Nancy and her husband.

The Volks-Ware company itself, which began as a woman-run business offering hiking gear and other sturdy outdoor stuff for women (back in the days when the quality stuff was all sized for guys), is also based in Surprise, AZ, a suburb of Phoenix. (Guys they also carry unisex items and have some great online sales. Enjoy!)

Well, this is a shame. When I saw this post, I was reminded of some deliciously spicy pistachios my parents got as a Christmas gift this year. When I checked out their web site, I was disappointed to see they are from New Mexico, but they are good none the less. Lets keep them on our list in case New Mexico wakes up also and passes similar legislation.

Shamelessly stolen from HillBuzz’s website posts. They are advocating an Arizona BUYcott!
Remember...November
“Boycott California Wines.”
ooooh, nice one!
Thanks for the link .... sounds interesting.
I would need to check about taking Marissa out of school.
It’s a Beautiful place and they have cabins that are really inexpensive. Nothing fancy, but very true to the mountain cabin atmosphere
LOL you got that rite!
What do you do if you ALREADY boycotted San Fran?
It’ll be fuzzy day in hell when CA sees any of my spending.
Stop the all the whining from San Francisco. Boycott California wines.
You go, Mr. Robinson! And thanks for Free Republic!!!
Perhaps if they read the Bible?
You know, where Jesus says something about the “sins of the fathers”?
How about I would rather support Brewer in Arizona than a whiner in California. Boycott California Wines.
Now I see on Drudge that Hispanics are rallying across the Country this Saturday. WE NEED TO COUNTER. I’m ready. I’m actually going to be in Scottsdale, AZ this Saturday and I’m ready to fight. I’ve had it. Did you ever think you’d see the day where illegals had more political clout than you and I? I’ve had it. I have.
There have been some rallies here in support of the AZ illegals. The typical MEX and Union thugs.
I have talked with many liberals here in San Diego in recent years who are long fed up with illegals and the
cost here.
When they say SD population not suporting the bill in AZ,
as one article stated - This is crap.
we’ve seen a lot in our time, but I’ve never, ever seen this level of dishonest reporting that I’m seeing here.
