BURBANK, Calif. - Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger would love to run for president — if he could.

California's actor-turned-governor was born in Austria and the U.S. Constitution prevents foreign-born citizens from holding the nation's top job.

Jay Leno asked Schwarzenegger on "The Tonight Show" Thursday if he would make a White House run if the law was changed.

Schwarzenegger replied, "Without any doubt."

Question is, will the globalist elite actually let Arnold be president? I don't think so.

Constitution prevents foreign-born citizens from holding the nation's top job.

But there is no mechanism to actually enforce that requirement...so he's free to run. I think he'd be a horrifically bad president, but constitutional requirements shouldn't stand in his way.

All politicians would like to float the idea that they could run for president to gain a certain degree of shine on themselves.

And in a nutty place like California that tatic even helps the Schwarzenegger.

Schwarzenegger is a total idiot. I voted against the stupid SOB when he ran first in 2003. He's getting dumber by the year. We aren't going to change the constitution for this buffoon. And even if we did, he wouldn't stand a chance. The American public has already elected one buffoon in the person of Obama and I don't think they would want a second.

Schwarzenegger is perhaps the worst governor in the history of the state of California. And he's going out with very low popularity. Unemployment is 12.5% and the state finances are a wreck. The K-12 Educational System is a mess as is just about everything in the State. I don't even have to mention the budget deficit. It's the worst in history and the state's bond rating is just above junk. So how does the AH think people would vote for him for president. He's delusional.

The T-800 would have an easier time finding Sarah Connor and John Connor than finding Obama’s Long Form Birth Certificate, lol.

That being said, I’m guessing Arnold doesn’t hate America like Obama does nor is he as much of an idiot as Jesse Ventura was.

I wouldn’t vote for him for President.

But he could hardly be worse than Obama.

All he needs is a fake CoLB posted online at Daily Kos.

:)

He must be delusional — what exactly about his abysmal record and non-performance in the deep morass that is California makes him think the country needs such “leadership”????

ok, I know that looking at Obozo in the WH would seem to set the bar very low, but if RINO-of-the-month is the flavor we may as well get stuck with Charlie Crist in the WH! (who has now officially fled the R. party, just as Arnold would do if that helped his electoral prospects anywhere)

Hint: Trick question so it's a tie.
It's not a 'Law' but the Constitution that stops him (and his ilk). And both of them should know that.

Churchill was a dual citizen until his 21st birthday, when he chose to be a British citizen and his American citizenship lapsed. In a speech to the US Congress, he referenced the fact that if his life had gone differently he might have gotten there under his own steam.

IMO, if he’d been born in USA while his parents were visiting here, he’d have been a natural born citizen and eligible to be President, unless of course he renounced his citizenship. This is almost an exact parallel to the Obama case.
