Those Alaskans been showing too much skin?

It's refreshing to finally know that earthquakes are caused by female "immorality" not silly things like tectonic plates and other scientific nonsense.

Seriously ,any damage?

Yes, I saw the mullahs seem to think woman in scantily worn clothing are causing all this turmoil.

Lots of fishing ships head out to the Bering Sea, but I would think it would be a little too early to head out that way yet.

Better at sea than in port.

The CA earthquake was a mistaken computer bug.

Wonder if this too is some kind of system error.

Something odd about the Napa Valley tremor. Fox News reported it. It showed up on the USGS quake map as a 5 point quake. Then it disappeared.

USGS was acting up apparently. I check the site often, and it was error prone yesterday. NOAA is acting up today, FWIW.

Thanks, PghBaldy. I’ve seen these “quirks” on the USGS site before.

I graduated from high school in Anchorage in 1961 and lost my best friend in the “big one” they had in 1964......a 9.2. It was horrific.

My husband was in Santiago, Chile in February when they had a big one there. One of the wood product plants we do business with was wiped out during the ensuing tsunami.

I check the quake sheet several times a day.
