The Obama administration is likely to reveal a closely guarded secret -- the size of the U.S. nuclear stockpile -- during a critical meeting starting Monday at which Washington will try to strengthen the global treaty that curbs the spread of nuclear weapons, several officials said.
The numbers could be released as soon as Monday, when Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is to address the NPT Review Conference in New York, officials said. She will speak after Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who is likely to repeat his demands for more global controls over the stockpiles of the nuclear nations.

To show Ahmadinejad we are listening to him — in addition to treason, Obama is humiliating the US in front of the entire world, by having the US speak AFTER Ahmadinejad’s anti-US rant, it will appear that Iran browbeated the US into this.
Obama will announce the number of nukes we have to the world, then he’ll announce that we will completely disarm unilaterally, hoping that Iran will follow our example — either that, or he wants to help our enemies to know our strenght, exactly. NOBODY would want the enemies to know what we really have.
Hopefully nobody was stupid enough to tell 0bamajad the real size of our nuclear arsenal.

of firearms and ammunition this country has seen. Law abiding citizens have rallied and have provided a “stimulus” to the sporting goods field while other industries have failed, faded or moved off-shore!

I fail to understand why the total number is of value to Iran or any one because the total is so great it is incomprehensible.
He can hurry his cause if he would just give them some complete nukes and launch vehicles. And perhaps just dump them on a couple preselected cities, like San Fran and DC.
This doesn’t even come close to making up for the destruction of the US — government takeover of healthcare, resulting in full control of our lives, totally destroying the US standing in the world, resulting the US has to give into any demands of China, or Iran.

I never cared for Powell — it was bad that he did it, BUT he did it in a US Congressional testimony, as part of some presentation, didn’t draw particular attention to it
Obama is doing it at a World Conference, making sure all our enemies are aware of it, and to add insult to injury, he is revealing it, after being subjected to Ahmadinejad’s rants, and it will look that we are reaching out that friendly hand to Ahmadinejad.
