This years May Day is more important than ever as the economic and financial crisis continues to strike a heavy blow on workers from the U.S. and around the world. A recovery with no jobs is a recovery solely for the multinational corporations, who are raking in record profits as the people face increasing poverty, joblessness, homelessness, disease and death.
The escalation of war abroad in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and the racist, ruthless military occupation of Haiti demand our response.
A powerful and massive united fight-back against this onslaught is urgently needed.
The following signers invite everyone from the labor, immigrant, anti-war, student, youth, community & progressive movements, to claim your day and join us at a May Day 2010.

However, ANSWER is now officially in the hands of the Workers World Party splinter group, Party for Socialism and Liberation. Most if not all of the leadership of PSL were top officials of the Workers World Party.

But here's other evidence of his speaking at the event:

All the USA-haters world-wide will be marching again this May Day.
Is this America anymore? Wow I am living in the Twilight Zone!
Great graphic! (I’ve been posting it freely.)
Any march, protest or demonstration that occurs on May 1st I immediately conclude they are communist backed. I don’t care about their denials; if you dig deep enough you will find a communist or communist sympathizer somewhere.
The dream is that Marxism can pull the American union worker down to the level of the Mexican day laborer, and then pull both of them down to the level of the distended-bellied Sudanese desert dweller.
The Marxist paradise awaits!
Welcome to Reconquista By Michelle Malkin March 27, 2006
[snip]the Los Angeles Times (and all other major media, for that matter) have downplayed the radical ethnic separatism that characterized the pro-illegal immigration rallies over the weekend. While the Times misleadingly asserted that the Los Angeles rally featured more American flags than those from any other country, its reporters conveniently ignored marchers with extremist signs and banners advocating America-undermining concepts of reconquista and Aztlan. Tammy Bruce noted on FOX News this morning that American flags were burned at the LA rally and marchers also held signs of the North American continent with America xed out.

Good! Let them get out in the open and identify themselves. This works to our benefit.
Thanks! Post ‘em freely!
Yeah...
Shades of the old May Day parades in Moscow ...
The only thing missing will be the big cannons..
WOW - and they send SWAT teams to tea parties? Stunning.
Cloudy here today...hopefully lots of rain in the forecast all over, with thunder, lightening and hail...throw in a tornado too!

Ramsey Clark (Attorney General under democrat prez LBJ) flashback: Vietnam War

June, 1970 -- Kerry joins Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW), a national veterans group that is part of the Peoples Coalition for Peace and Justice. The PCPJ is a broad coalition of local and national organizations, including the Communist Party, USA, "committed to conducting demonstrations aimed at ending the war in Indochina, and poverty, racism and injustice at home." The VVAW, CCI and PCPJ all have headquarters at 156 Fifth Avenue in New York City. VVAW Executive Secretary Al Hubbard, a former Black Panther, is also on the coordinating committee of the PCPJ. Hubbard soon appoints Kerry to the VVAW's Executive Committee, bypassing the normal election process.

Fact: The Black Panthers were revolutionary communists...

From the Maoist Internationist Movement:
[1960s/original] Black Panther Party [BPP] Archives
From the article: REVOLUTIONARY HEROS
"On May 1st, May Day [1969], the day of the gigantic Free Huey rally, two of Alioto's top executioners vamped on the brothers from the Brown Community who were attending to their own affairs. These brothers, who are endowed with the revolutionary spirit of the Black Panther Party defended themselves from the racist pig gestapo [i.e., the police].
Pig Joseph Brodnik received his just reward with a big hole in the chest. Pig Paul McGoran got his in the mouth which was not quite enough to off him.
The revolutionary brothers escaped the huge swarm of pigs with dogs, mace, tanks and helicopters, proving once again that "the spirit of the people is greater than the man's technology."
To these brothers the revolutionary people of racist America want to say, by your revolutionary deed you are heroes, and that you are always welcome to our camp."

November 22, 1970 -- During a fund-raising tour for GI deserters, Vietnam Veterans Against the War and the Black Panthers, Jane Fonda is quoted in the Detroit Free Press as telling a University of Michigan audience:
"I would think that if you understood what communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees that we would someday become communist," and "The peace proposal of the Viet Cong is the only honorable, just, possible way to achieve peace in Vietnam."

Jane “F-ing” Fonda—never forget, NEVER forgive.
Same for John F-ing Kerry and former US Attorney General Ramsey Clark.
...and the same to John “F-ing” Kerry, in spades!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is stolen land? Well, at most, even if a correct statement, it is at most an academic one, and what’s really relevant is: (1) T WASN’T STOLEN FROM YOU and (2) THE US OF AMERICA (black, white, red, yellow brown, green, pink with purple polka dots) AIN’T ABOUT TO GIVE IT BACK OR LET ANYONE TAKE IT FROM US.
We are awake now.

You might enjoy this, it makes your point.
Mr. Reconquista, Show me yours and I’ll show you mine!
Quote from a Latino who feels this country should be his... “There will never be justice because we were displaced of our lands and until our proper identification is returned back us to, our lands will never be returned to us. But at least return us our identity. We are indigenous people to this land.”
Really? Well, Mr. Reconquista, show me yours and I’ll show you mine.
Mexicans illegally in this country had no ancestors who lived in these United States. I’ve offered the challenge to hundreds of them. The handful of Mexicans who lived here when the US bought that land from Mexico left no descendants in Mexico, especially the southern area and Central America where most illegals now come from. NO, they became AMERICANS. Their progeny are citizens.
This country is sacred land to we NATIVE born citizens, most of us with long historical ancestry. We don’t take lightly being told we don’t belong here, but you invaders do.
I have family who pioneered, built and died defending this country, many were indigenous as you claim to be, buried in Massachusetts, New York, Washington DC, Virginia, Ohio, Missouri, Georgia, Arkansas,Tennessee, Oklahoma Indian Territory, Texas, Kansas, Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, South Carolina, North Carolina, Utah. There are a couple buried in Mexico.
Now, show me yours. Where do your ancestors rest?
Know this, we will protect this sacred ground. There are millions more of us than you and you can’t have enough anchor babies to change it before my fellow Americans get enough of your “attitude”. Go back to the third world you wish to impose on us and take your dream of colonizing my country with you. The sooner the better.

A guide to May Day rallies protesting Arizonas immigration law
[snip]
Arizonas immigration enforcement law has raised the ire of groups fighting for the right of illegal aliens to break the law. Fueled by derisive comments made by the American president, Barack Obama, protestors are aiming to send a clear signal to Arizona and to the rest of the nation by organizing protests in as many as seventy cities across the nation on May 1st, also known as May Day or International Workers Day. Here are some highlights from the protests.
SEIU
Known for its violent confrontations during last years town hall meetings about health care, SEIU has emerged as a key organizer of rallies in at least 16 cities including Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Seattle, Houston, New York City, and Washington D.C. President Obama and members of his regime have strong ties with SEIU.
The Slogan
An emerging slogan surrounding the protests is We are all Arizona. Indicating solidarity with those who believe that Arizona does not have the right to establish and enforce laws. The slogan apparently does not account for the nearly 70% of Arizona residents and 60% of all Americans who support the Arizona law.
Enforcement
The congregating of illegals during the May Day protests seem to be fertile ground for federal immigration enforcement efforts. However, no enforcement activities are anticipated at these events.

From Investor's Business Daily (IBD), August 27, 2008:
"Ayers, now a tenured distinguished professor of education at UIC, works to educate teachers in socialist revolutionary ideology, urging that it be passed on to impressionable students.
One of Ayer's descriptions for a course called 'Improving Learning Environments' says prospective K-12 teachers need to 'be aware of the social and moral universe we inhabit and ... be a teacher capable of hope and struggle, outrage and action, teaching for social justice and liberation.
The Annenberg papers are quite extensive 132 boxes containing 947 file folders with 70 linear feet of material. They undoubtedly contain more surprises regarding Obama's relationship with Ayers, one of many relationships Obama has sought to hide.'..."

The RCP calls for the armed overthrow of the U.S. government...
From the website of the Revolutionary Communist Party (revcom.us or rwor.org) :
"Create Public Opinion, Seize Power: We are preparing minds and organizing forces for the time when there is a major crack in the system, whenever it comes and wherever it comes from: an opening that makes it possible to bring the future Revolutionary Army of the Proletariat (R.A.P.) into the field and wage a revolutionary armed struggle that actually has a chance of winning.
And we have said that building our party itself is the most important part of organizing forces for revolution. This is true now, and it is true looking forward to the creation of that future R.A.P. and the waging of that armed struggle.":

Where is the link at the top of the thread?
The media will cover the World Workers Party as good guys like they were passing out free beer and jumper cables.
Ping!
It was a collection of things I put together from various Workers World Party-related organizations.
They will more likely cut them out completely. Even Fox News does that bull crap when reporting these things.
...meanwhile, the whole damn event was about promoting communism and revolution. I was there today and will put together a report of my own in a day or so and post it as a thread. Un-freaking-believable is all I can say at this late hour on the east coast (11:45pm).
