If you've wondered how the Democrat controlled whinney media will handle the Obama affair story read this from a self delusional Leftist website: This line says it all "the ailing, tea-bagging Republican party.."
"Swiss newspaper Le Matin is reviving old claims that President Barack Obama had an extramarital affair in 2004 with Vera Baker, a young woman who worked on his campaign team when he was running for Illinois Senator.
The paper claims "video surveillance tapes exist that are rather compromising for the 44th president of the United States." It also alleges that software engineers have dug up email exchanges between Obama and Baker since he has been President.
There are also claims that Michelle Obama found out about the affair and had Baker shipped off to Martinique.
Of course, these "new" revelations could be orchestrated by the ailing, tea-bagging Republican party, which is looking for anything to assassinate Obama's character and jeopardize health care and financial reform. A Lewinsky-type scandal involving Obama is the GOP's wet dream.
But why are these rumors coming from Europe? Here's a guess - Obama is wildly popular there, unlike in the U.S., so turning negative European opinion towards the President would work to the GOP's advantage. It's particularly curious that the rumors are coming from a Swiss source. Isn't that the country where the super-rich hide their money?
What do you make of these new rumors about President Obama? Do you think they are true, or only exist in the imagination of the GOP?

Clinton had plenty of perfectly credible “Bimbo Eruptions” from pre-presidential days; these didn’t hurt his popularity significantly. He generally ignored them. This Obama “Bimbo Eruption” isn’t likely to hurt him either. There are probably others that will pop up over time.
Does anyone else wonder whether or not this superficial scandal is a ploy to distract Americans from paying attention to a much more important problem? Maybe Obama is trying to distract everyone from the Chicago Climate Exchange Story. It's an age old political magicians tactic to distract your enemy from your true objective with a phony scandal, so that you can accomplish your true objective without any obstacles. Other things Obama probably doesn't want on the front page right now could include the following: Cap and Trade, Puerto Rico Statehood, Obama's eligibility,and more!
It could be one publication citing the other.

I frankly don’t believe the man has anything beyond a passive interest in anything sexual. That explains Larry Sinclair and that explains his otherwise inexplicable choice in a spouse.
This is an old, concocted story that served the purpose of, what, harmonizing cognitive dissonance at the time? It’s serving several purposes now.
First, it shores up flagging support among black Americans. Reference then-surprising polling results during the Clinton administration. It makes him human, less robotic and less of a strange fruit with homosexual rumors swirling about him. It makes him a man, something somewhat doubtful again, as it was then. Such an odd silence about Reggie Love, you’d think a former basketball star would be something of an icon in the administration. But ... crickets.
Second, it provides a circus atmosphere to draw attention away from something else. If we’ve learned anything from, again, the Clinton era, it’s to watch the hands during the magic show.

Something truly strange is going on we don’t know yet, but wonder if May Day protests are part of it.
Yesterday, the Drudge Report ran this weird collection of stories centered on the Obamas all of them old and recycled:

The current president is as heterosexual as Tom Cruise and John Travolta.
The current first lady would care about Obama fooling around with a woman as much as Katie Holmes or Kelly Preston would care about their own husbands doing that. All of them would be stunned, and would probably laugh to hear the men they are married to had sex with a woman, but none of them would especially care. They are married to these men for a reason, and it’s not because they are madly in love with them, and vice versa.
The other weird bit is the old story about Maria Pinto’s clothing line collapsing making news again. Drudge ran a story about this months ago. We know, because we saw it and then did a piece on it ourselves, because we know Pinto from fashion events in Chicago we were involved in and she’s not a nice woman, so no one should be too sad about her business going under.
So, why are all these old stories coming out today?
Why does the White House feel the need to put out stories about the president being a randy stud who loves women?

Isn’t this the exact story from a couple years ago, including the detail about the limo driver. And Vera Baker was supposedly banished to a Caribbean Island at the insistence of Michelle, who discovered the affair and was furious?
The Enquirer story lacks a time frame, and other significant detail.
You guys are exactly right, this is very peculiar, and it means something is going on, especially teamed with the other old news you mention.
My intuition tells me Dr. U is one of the most unlikely golfers in the history of mankind. I simply cannot see him actually wanting to golf, a sport which requires a certain temperament and pov on life.
He took up the sport recently (2007?).
I admit this is sheer speculation, but it would not surprise me if golf was a beard for this man. He is still too young of a man and too undisciplined to have conquered his physiological desires. “Golf” provides the right amount of time and opportunity to go down low.
And believe me, he is not getting it on with Michelle.
Vera Baker? The HB speculation is so interesting. Where is the Love man?

Ever since the Prez ditched the press to show up at his daughter’s non-existent soccer game, rumors have been circulating that he is having an affair. The press is also forbidden to go on the links with him, unlike his predecessors.

I think he went to meet with Andy Stern that one time he ran off without the press pool. That was the same time that Andy Stern quit and then mysteriously disappeared. Now all this stuff is coming out about the Clicago Climate Exchange and Unions and their heavy involvement in the SCAM called Cap and Trade.

My interest in her is whether she set up a ghost credit card processing facility in the Caribbean that processed credit cards without Id verification during the 2008 election. That is almost unheard of.
Many card numbers could have been used that traced to the same account or a cluster of accounts in an offshore bank. That is my concern and I believe that it is a legitimate one.
They could have funneled a lot of foreign money to Barack through these accounts. And yes, they are that good at doing things like this.

It must have something to do with him personally, and it must be really damaging.” An affair with a female would not be really damaging.

I must agree. The only thing that would endear their hearts more is if they could call him the baby daddy. But I haven’t seen anything to make that reality.
