Obama notes things hard to find, keep: 'love and a birth certificate'

President Barack Obama took shots at his poll drops, birthers, death panels, and Arizona's new immigration law on Saturday night.

Obama opened for comedian Jay Leno at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, noting that Leno was the "only person whose ratings fell more than mine.

"I'm also glad I'm speaking first, because we've all seen what happens when someone takes the time slot after Leno," Obama said in reference to the Conan O'Brien "Tonight Show" fiasco.

But, the president joked, "I know my approval ratings are still very high in the country of my birth."

Leno prodded back at Obama when it was his turn at bat. First up: the controversy over Obama's plans with the space program.

"We can point to one achievement during his administration," Leno said. "We did get one astronaut on 'Dancing on the Stars.'"

"He loves to socialize," Leno added of the president. "Healthcare. Car companies."

"And we all know what happens in Arizona when you don't have ID," Obama said, taking a shot at the controversial law that has sparked protests -- and calls on Capitol Hill to move on immigration reform. "Adios amigos!"

But instead, the president focused on the domestic priority that he spent much of his term thus far getting pushed through.

"There aren't a few secret provisions in the healthcare plan," Obama said. "There are, like, hundreds."

"You know what really tickles me?" Obama said. "Eric Massa."

Obama addressed Massa's charge that chief of staff Rahm Emanuel confronted him naked and screaming obscenities in the congressional showers.

"To which I say, welcome to my world," Obama said.

The White House Correspondents' Association Dinner was tonight, your only chance to catch Justin Bieber and Tim Geithner in the same room. You weren't invited; neither were we. What did we miss? Jokes!

Obama's speech cut a wide and withering swathe through the political and cultural landscape: Zinging Jay Leno, Scott Brown, Sarah Palin, Politico, Fox, CNN, the Jonas Brothers, the GOP, Eric Massa and a lot of other stuff!

He opened with a nod to Biden's infamous "big f*****g deal" gaffe:

Did he actually say "f*****g" or what? It is unclear but this is a matter of national importance?

This article spelled out the f word, I stared it.

He wasn’t funny tonight but rather came across as condescending and halting in his supreme arrogance,.
Seemed like Leno wanted to bail in the middle of his ill received comments..

The Kenyan Clown's personality is such that when he does leave the Oval Office, he will be merciless in mocking those idiots who voted for him.

With this performance tonight, my guess is that once he is out of office, he will proudly state that his wife was correct in talking about his homeland of Kenyan.

Furthermore, I would be unsurprised if he then (or later) freely admits that he is actually an illegal alien because his mother never bothered to have him properly registered.
