I have a question about the Ark: If the Ark settled high on Mt. Ararat it's safe to presume the water level was pretty high and that it settled on what would basically be an island sticking up out of the water. There would be similar islands sticking up all over the place till the water could recede.

Where did the animals go? Wouldn't they have been stuck on a bare mountain with no food? How did they travel from one island to the next?

Or, did the waters magically disappear revealing the earth as it is today?

Yes of course...the waters did recede. How God did it is not known, but how God made your incredible body with more efficient and complex functions than any machine man has ever made is not known either...yet here you are!

since the world was flat back then how did the water stay on the world?and they knew nothing about this side of the world,so how did he get the animals back to the ark?there is a lot to ponder about this story.
