A DEPARTMENT OF Human Services caseworker pressured a pregnant Mayfair teenager to undergo a late-term abortion by threatening to take away either her toddler or her unborn baby if she had the child, according to the teen's foster mother.
The alleged strong-arm tactic happened one day after DHS learned of the pregnancy, when the girl was about 22 weeks pregnant, according to her foster mother and the girl's social worker, Marisol Rivera

the ‘teenager’ already had a toddler?
So a govt agency pushes for the late term abortion of a baby and your main concern is the age of the mother?
Judge's order? JUDGE'S ORDER? How is that even possible? I thought abortion was between a woman and her doctor and the government was supposed to stay out. Last time I checked, the judiciary was a branch of the government.
not at all, I just woindered why it was ok for teen-mom to have the first kid, but not the second. I’m confused.
late term ...
HHS = Health and Human Services.
Reporter and editor = dorks.
Did I miss something about a birth defect that the proborts claim is the “reason” for LTAs? I didn’t read anything about that? Was this just a judge’s whim?
At the federal level, that's true. Various states, though, have different names for their Human Services operations. It's quite likely that Pennsylvania calls theirs the Department of Human Services and abbreviates it DHS.
I heard a few stories like this when I volunteered for a crisis pregnancy center in Boston. Some of these workers make a judgement that a girl with a dysfunctional life has no business bringing a baby into it, to make her life even harder and to produce another messed-up generation - so they tighten the screws.
Or such is the story that dysfunctional, manipulative girls sometimes tell. Some of time it is probably true.
The judge didn’t order the abortion to be performed, but rather gave permission for the abortion in the absence of the parent’s consent. Abortions typically are between women and their doctors, but inevitably the extension of individual rights to minors is a gray area.
Reporter and Editor = maybe not dorks.
PatriotUSA = maybe dork.
“not at all, I just woindered why it was ok for teen-mom to have the first kid, but not the second. Im confused.”
Sorry I misunderstood your post then. That part confused me as well.
One of my relatives delivered the 8th child of a 20-year-old welfare mother. No twins, you do the math.
But we really shouldn’t call them death panels, right?
A woman’s right to choose? Right?
“Keep Your Laws Off Of My Body”? Right?
The Left are such lying hypocrites.
How many baby daddy’s is that?
I know that I have no kids yet I have to provide several pieces of ID (Including my actual social security card) to the Texas DPS office to get my driver’s license reknewed (deadbeat dad laws).
So how come those chumps get off on not paying for their kids?
I’ll go with your original post of “Reporter and editor=dorks.”
I’m not ready to believe this without more evidence. If this really is true than we need to start executing judges and politicians. War!
Laws only apply to leftists. These power-hungry vermin don’t care about any other body.
