To hit his target ‘demo, he need only broadcast Romper Room and Mad TV reruns on a 24-hour cycle.

Good luck with that. Liberals don't pay cable bills.

Ah, Idiot Phil, your leftist drivel is called a lie in most
circles. So, good luck selling that.

He told the Chicago Tribune that he will try to carve out a niche on the left, hoping some day to rival the Fox News Channel's record-setting ratings. The premise is flawed, FOX is unique in that has a conservative bent ... MSNBC has to compete with the mainstream alphabet networks that are all profoundly liberal. MSNBC offers nothing new.

Hasn’t he heard about Air America? Lefty ideas don’t work, people won’t hear it, it doesn’t sell.

Liberal stupidity = short attention span, which is why msnbc will never, ever even come close to FOX’s ratings.

Well isn’t that special. I guess we all need a dream, don’t we?

carve out a niche on the left, hoping some day to rival the Fox News Channel's record-setting ratings.I'd like to see the Gantt chart for this project. I'm guessing it'll take at least one roll of TP to lay out.

In his liberal cocoon, he is totally unaware that Fox is barely centrist, while MSNBC is loony left. Fox is popular because it presents many sides of the issues. Loony left has only a micro audience to appeal to, and there are already multiple media to reach it.
