The Chicago Sun Times ^ | May 4, 2010 | Chris Fusco and Tim Novak

The City of Chicago's inspector general has opened an investigation into an affordable-housing program under which U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez's daughter was able to buy a condominium at a discount, despite family income of more than $93,000, and resell it after 14 months at a 55 percent profit.

Another real estate swindle for the Gutierrez family!

The classic occurred when the Cook County Assessor "mistakenly" assessed a Gutierrez residence as an undeveloped vacant lot and permitted Gutierrez to avoid paying higher property taxes for several years due to "the clerical error."

Just a slight turbo-tax oversight I am sure.

Corny capitalism in it’s finest, public sector unions with pension that are unsustainable.

Isn’t it now time to limit public sector pay to less than the national average salary? And pensions to only Social Security.

Another indirect Puerto Rico ping. This guy Gutierrez passes himself as a "Puerto Rican" and son of "immigrants", when he was born and raised in Chicago and his parents were born American citizens. He is part of the Obama/Chicago political machine, is a big mouth and purportedly is competing with Rahm Emmanuel for the Chicago mayor seat. I wouldn't be surprised if Rahm was the one providing this dirt.

Puerto Rico Ping! Please Freepmail me if you want on or off the list.

How’s that investigation going of that other Chicago real estate deal that was bought at a ridiculously low price. Can’t think who it was... name was something like, uh, Rezko and that other guy, uh, Obama... and I think that second guy’s aunt is living in government housing was supposed to be deported years ago... or I might be mistaken about any investigation...

Long years ago, “America’s Most Wanted” ran a story on some fugitives from justice involved with the radical terrorist FALN movement. The FALN was seeking to liberate Puerto Rico from the USA (even though a majority of Puerto Ricans preferred American benefit payments to independence). The program used from file footage from an earlier Puerto Rican independence demonstration. On camera, with a full head of hair and a mustache, was a youthful Luis Guiterrez shouting and waving the red flag of the former Soviet Union with the sickle and hammer.

Now, this renegade is serving in the US Congress.

This has gone from “politics as usual” to criminal activity. Al Capone must be real proud of “his” Chicago.

The irony is that Capone was convicted and sent to prison for less than these criminals.

Luis is from Chicago but really represents Mexican illegals and leftist Puerto Rican terrorists. He is one of those hyphenated pols with no loyalty this country. He and his like would turn America into a pre-civil war Yugoslavia, a nation composed of antagonistic ethnic and racial tribes, a country that will eventually break apart. He and others like him—Black Caucus, Hispanic Caucus—will destroy this country.

FBI agents ask about Gutierrez, developer
The Chicago Tribune ^ | May 4, 2010 | Todd Lightly and Robert Becker The FBI has interviewed City Hall employees and Chicago aldermen about U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez's ties to a corrupt developer, according to records and interviews that raise new questions about the congressman amid an ongoing federal investigation.

A former alderman convicted in the investigation told FBI agents that Gutierrez boasted of helping his longtime political supporter Calvin Boender obtain a lucrative zoning change for a development on the city's West Side. Another alderman told agents this year she thought Gutierrez was going to buy a home in the development. (Excerpt) Read more at chicagotribune.com ...

Cong Gutierrez (D-Ill) has made a career out of helping illegal aliens drain whatever they could out of America. Good chance Gutierrez was aiding and abetting govt financial fraud and ID fraud. How many fake ID's were used to bilk govt agencies?

IS THAT HOW GUTIERREZ WAS ELECTED TO NINE TERMS rigging his elections? With illegals voting with fake id's?

Americans DEMAND provisions to protect our tax dollars and secure our elections. Elected officials and candidaters who rig elections should be subject to prosecution if they knowingly organized illegals with several identities in order to fraudulently obtain public office.

2 Texans accused of planning to sell counterfeit IDs

NORTH BERGEN -- (AP) 07/21/06---The Pelcastre brothers were a walking threat to national security -- expert document forgers who, for a few thousand dollars, could give anyone a new identity, authorities said Thursday. When police stumbled across the pair, the men had turned a Tonnelle Avenue hotel room into a business office and were readying a massive cache of fake Social Security cards for delivery to a local identity broker, authorities said.

The brothers, Angel, 31, and Jorge, 34, both of Dallas, were a "one-stop shop" for a myriad of government documents, including birth certificates, Social Security cards, driver's licenses for any state in the country , including passports and resident alien cards, said state police Capt. Al Della Fave. "Can you imagine if a terrorist were able to get their hands on this stuff?" Della Fave said. "They'd have free passage throughout the country."

A task force including state troopers and officers from both the Bergen and Hudson county prosecutors' offices happened upon two cars bearing Texas plates in the parking lot of the hotel Wednesday morning. Authorities wouldn't identify the hotel by name for fear it could hinder cooperation from other hotels in future investigations or spark retribution.

The Corporate Outreach Task Force, formerly the Hotel Motel Drug Interdiction Task Force, regularly runs checks on motor vehicles in area motels. Members of the task force began watching the cars, a Chevrolet Impala and a Pontiac Firebird, and followed the brothers to an office supply store in a nearby shopping center, where the men purchased computer supplies, said state police Sgt. Stephen Jones.

Officers then followed the brothers to a self-storage facility in Secaucus, where they loaded several boxes from a storage unit into one of the cars, Jones said. One of the men stood lookout, which heightened police suspicion, he said. Authorities approached the men when they returned to the hotel and questioned them separately, Jones said. The brothers consented to a search of their cars, hotel room and the storage facility, he said.

Police recovered laminating sheets with built-in security features, pages of blank documents waiting for fake names and information, finished documents, computers and software to create the fake IDs, Jones said.

All told, the haul was worth about $500,000 on the street, Della Fave said. Police also recovered $6,000 in cash, which was the first payment from a fake document broker for a shipment of 500 Social Security cards, Della Fave said.

"They were aggressively selling to brokers," he said. "This isn't like selling driver's licenses to individuals. These were multiple layers of high-level documents."

The brothers were being held without bail Thursday at the Hudson County Jail on charges of possessing fraudulent documents and conspiracy to sell fraudulent documents. Federal charges are also pending against them, said state police Detective Sgt. Cesar Huaman, a member of the task force.

Arizona Congressman Walks Away When Asked If He’s Committed to Sealing Border Against Drug Traffic

Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.), who represents a congressional district that includes 300 miles of the U.S.-Mexico border, turned and walked away and did not answer when CNSNews.com asked him whether he was committed to sealing the border against the influx of illegal drugs.

“Are you committed to sealing the border against the influx of illegal drugs?” CNSNews.com asked Grijalva, who had stopped for an interview. Rather than answer, Grijalva walked away, eventually shouting back at the reporter that it was “punkish” to ask the question. (Excerpt) Read more at cnsnews.com ...

REFERENCE U.S. Rep. Steve King to Fox's Laura Ingraham:" I’m wondering if we look at the map of Arizona Congressman Grijalva’s congressional district, if we haven’t already ceded that component of Arizona to Mexico, judging by the voice that comes out of Grijalva. Grijalva’s advocating for Mexico rather than the United States and against the rule of law, which is one of the central pillars of American exceptionalism. Grijalva believes Arizona's new law, which requires law enforcement officials to demand papers from anyone they suspect is in the country illegally, is racist and does little more than “propagate the idea separate but equal treatment under the law can be codified,” Grijalva said.

DOING MEXICO'S BIDDING----BLOCKING ARIZONA'S NEW LAW Congressman Raul Grijalva is organizing opposition: The National Coalition of Latino Clergy and Christian Leaders, the American Civil Liberties Union and the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, US Attorney General Eric Holder, Andrew Chavez, head of a Phoenix-based petition-circulating firm and chairman of the One Arizona referendum campaign. State Rep. Ben Miranda, a Phoenix Democrat who will serve as the local attorney on the case. At least three Arizona cities also are considering lawsuits to block the law. Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon retained legal counsel to prepare a lawsuit to file on behalf of the city. Tucson leaders and Flagstaff City Councilman Rick Swanson also are considering their options to block the law.

Clinton also pardoned Hasidic Jews who bilked the US government of millions----one Hasidic enclave gave 1200 votes to Hillary, thus nailing her election.
