The Muslim husband of the first woman in Italy to be fined for wearing a burka has vowed to never let her outside again, because he doesn't want other men looking at her.
Amel Marmouri, 26, was handed a penalty of 500 euros (£430) after being spotted by police officers in a post office in the northern city of Novara.

He should take her and his own putrid carcass back to whatever third world rathole that spawned them and not have the problem.
wash her halahala while you’re at it... it reeks.
I agree. Haul her fat ass back to Muslimland.
Think of it this way, Amel, at least at home, she won’t be tugging on the leash.
How emotionally retarded and intelectually crippled must one be to confine a wife to the indoors for the rest of her life so that other men may not look at her? Ddon’t tel me islam isn’t a sick, twisted and evil construct.
Hey, Amel - I’m imagining your Wife naked right now.
Mmmmm - she shore is purty...
A friend of mine knows a couple of women from the Mid East who wear burkas...head gear and all...
She went to a Walmart with one of them and the woman was leaving a trail of blood on the floor behind her...
Apparantly she had her period and didnt wear underwear...
My poor friend was so disgusted...
She smells like the inside of mah momma’s purse!
I am speechless.
Damn, that sucks.
Hey, how about them Red Sox?!
I think red sox would be banned as overly provocative too.
Well, in their own countries they can’t go out even wearing a burka without a family male escort...so this is really no different if he chooses to keep her at home.
I agree the burka should be outlawed across our nation...but that remains to be seen...eventually it will be..you can count on it.
The 2 women are part of some kind of abused women’s support group...just for Islamic women...
Its secret and underground so the husbands wont know...
Aparantly the husbands force them to wear the burkas to cover up head to toe bruises...
Where they are from there are no laws against voilence againt the wife...
But when they get here they get into trouble...
So the burka “covers a multitude of sins”
Now if this poor woman is being beaten by her husband then no he doesnt want anyone to see her without her burka...
Beretta was founded in 1526 AD.
Beretta is one of the world's oldest corporations, and it has been owned by the same family for some five hundred years. The Beretta company was established in 1526, when gunsmith Maestro Bartolomeo Beretta of Gardone Val Trompia (Brescia, Lombardy, Italy) was paid 296 ducats in payment for 185 arquebus barrels by the Arsenal of Venice. The bills of sale for the order of those firearms are in the firm’s archives.
Wiki fails to mention that the Beretta arquebus barrels were used with devastating results by the Venetians at the Battle of Lepanto.
The burkha is indeed ‘a display of religion’, if only in the same way that manacles or a dog-leash would be. Islam is a religion of slavery and repression, and clothes that mew a woman up so that she cannot feel the sun on her skin are an almost perfect symbol of that hellish religion.
I thank God that the Italians have - with great fortitude - decided that slavery and repression of women are no longer going to be tolerated in the streets. They are way ahead of us on this one.
None of the Western Societies would permit a masked man wearing a hood to strut around in public.
Why should they allow women to do so.
Disgunsting. She needs to find new friends.
“None of the Western Societies would permit a masked man wearing a hood to strut around in public.”
Do you really believe that? Ever been to carnival?
What she did at the time was help the women buy some pads and some cute undies...
My friend has a sense of humor...
Exactly, that’s on certain occasions, not as a matter of course.
Anyway, put on a white, black, purple or pink hood (easily made with a pillowcase) and walk around anywhere in America.
See how far you get.
Question is, was he actually letting her *outside* before?
I was starting to think I was the only one disquieted by a so-called civilized country legislating that your manner of dress may not be too modest. I would not like to see us doing that here.
Or to a gay parade?
Doesn’t the UK have laws about imprisonment?
Are you nuts. Covering your face is taking modesty a little to far, isn’t it. No one’s banning the Iranian style headcovers, just the fanatical Sunni sack.
This is the worst misogynistic dress around.
It literally covers a multitude of nasty deeds, if needed.
What’s so wrong with showing your face. It’s a societal convention.
And tell me how that walking around with a mask on your head works out.
If it’s not OK for men, then why should it be Ok for women.
Damn! I wouldn't want anybody else to have to look at it either!
Put the damned tablecloth back on that woman!
“Are you nuts.”
Not usually. Sometimes.
“Covering your face is taking modesty a little to far, isnt it.”
You see, I think that’s for me to decide. And for my wife, that’s for her to decide.
“No ones banning the Iranian style headcovers, just the fanatical Sunni sack.”
Ah. So you’re not in favor of disrobing nuns of their habits. I’m glad of that. If there was a particulary “fanatical” order that posited extreme modesty to the extent of covering the face, would you want them arrested or fined in the U.S.?
“This is the worst misogynistic dress around.”
Are nun’s habits just a little bit misogynistic? Is the Amish style the best misogynistic dress?
“It literally covers a multitude of nasty deeds, if needed.”
It covers a person, I think. I’m not sure I know what you mean.
“Whats so wrong with showing your face. Its a societal convention.”
Nothing wrong to me. I do it all the time.
“And tell me how that walking around with a mask on your head works out.”
Why would I want to do that?
“If its not OK for men, then why should it be Ok for women.”
I see more men walking around hiding their faces with hoods than women wearing whatever that garment is called.
>>than women wearing whatever that garment is called.
I love a knowledgeable poster.
Anyway, you miss the point with all your tangetial references to other religious clothing.
NONE of those cover the FACE fully.
Is that fact that hard to understand.
“NONE of those cover the FACE fully.”
You conveniently ignored my question postulating a Christain order believing in extreme modesty. Understandable.
So I’ll try this. If the garment covered most of the face but not all - if just the very tip of the nose were exposed - would that be OK?
Ten dollars says he has a micro-penis.
>.You conveniently ignored my question postulating a Christain order believing in extreme modesty. Understandable.
WTF is that BS.
Understandable, what’s that mean in that context.
You refuse to answer a simple question, and don’t even know what a damn burka is and then you come on with some Christian theology angle.
Who’s talking nuns or other garb. The topic was the Burka.
I’ll try. Really.
What was the question that I refuse to answer? Do I understand that you are talking about full facial covering? Yes, I understand that.
Interestingly, there are certain wedding veils that completely cover the face. I think the point is to symbolize modesty. Nothing wrong with that in my book.
No one’s talking about wedding veils, nuns habits, or the Amish.
This is a woman covering her entire face while in public.
The question, would you allow a masked man to walk around in public.
“No ones talking about wedding veils, nuns habits, or the Amish.”
I am talking bout those things, but you don’t want to. Okay. I can’t make you.
“This is a woman covering her entire face while in public.”
To be clear, if that’s what she wants to do, I have no objection. People do all kinds of things I don’t like, but I think it’s important that they be free to do so.
“The question, would you allow a masked man to walk around in public.”
As I said before, that happens all the time. So yes, I would allow it.
>I am talking bout those things, but you dont want to. Okay. I cant make you.
Silly me, imagine, the thread topic is what I am talking about.
>To be clear, if thats what she wants to do, I have no objection. People do all kinds of things I dont like, but I think its important that they be free to do so.
Hiding one’s identity is OK with you.
Fine, drinking in public is one thing I would like to everywhere, I shouldn’t have to go to Vegas or NewOrleans to indulge that behavior. So, when is that impingement on my freedom gonna be lifted.
>As I said before, that happens all the time. So yes, I would allow it.
Yes, I see masked men in balaclavas and hoods and bandanas around their faces on the streets of America all the time. Really prevalent in Italy too.
Another point is that women are forced to wear them. No say in the matter. Of course, some want to wear them (especially if the alternative is death, beatings etc). But in countries like Italy or the US where the only punishment will be from the husband or at the local mosque, and not the government, no doubt many would choose not to wear them.
I cannot believe that the burka is not universally derided.
It is coercion.
It is the misogynistic domination of women.
Some may prefer it, but societal mores in the West dictate your face be visible. If you don’t like that, move to Saudi or Pakistan.
There are health issues too, Vitamin D deprivation, ear infections....
But, simply put, it violates cultural mores in the West.
But our PC culture sees it an issue of free expression and religious freedom. No one is denying that to these women by making them show their face as they walk down the street.
It violates cultural mores all over the world except in Islamic countries. I used to be more tolerant of Islam until not onlyu 9/11 but also reading up on the history of Islamic expansion. All Moslems are descendents of those forced into Islam, other than the descendents of Mohammed’s direct followers. And if born into Islam, one cannot change. It’s like a life sentence in prison.
The history of Islam in greater India is a story of unparalled barbarism that is pretty much unknown anywhere. Or Indonesia. Any country they touch is ruined.
If you wear a burka you never have to worry about a bad hair day...when I have one of those, I wouldn’t mind wearing a burka for the day...:O)
Actually you could get away with wearing nothing at all underneath those!
Nuns don’t go around shooting people or blowing people up....and their faces are in full view....
I don’t want people behind face hoods walking around so that I can’t tell who they are.
Yipes the wind might blow up the skirt, and that is something I wouldn’t punish anyone with...
I don’t want a lot of things, but that doesn’t mean they should be illegal.
