Faisal Shahzad's Pakistani passport, tax documents, greeting cards, academic records and immigration documents were found abandoned outside a Shelton home once owned by the man charged in the attemped Times Square car bombing.

The documents, mainly from 2000 and 2001, were found Tuesday by a Connecticut Post reporter outside the house at 119 Long Hill Ave. where the 30-year-old Shahzad lived until about a year ago. The house is vacant and up for sale.

Police earlier had searched the property, according to neighbors.

More details in the article, including picture of his passport.

I find this peculiar -- he left the house a year ago, and the documents were still there, including importan t documents like passport and immigration document. How come the police didn't find them? They do seem to be authentic.

How did he get to Pakistan and back recently without his passport?

apparently in some apartment:

“Shahzad apparently lived in Bridgeport, Conn. Federal agents and local police raided a multi-family house on the east side of the city around 2 a.m.”

I would assume he used his US Passport. He should have surrendered his Pakistani Passport when he became a US Citizen last year.

“How did he get to Pakistan and back recently without his passport?”

Same way Obama did, presumably.

After three days, we now have more background information on Shahzad than we do on our own President.

Apparently that was an old, expired passport.

” How did he ever qualify for a mortgage with those W2s? “

Subprime loan...this guy wouldn’t qualify for a legitimate loan, and he probably lived in the place for months without making a payment. And WE got to bail him/bank out. As a real estate friend says, if he’s breathing, he qualifies.

If the left wing Ct Post had the secret to eternal life, I wouldn’t buy it. Everyone who works at the Post is left wing scum, including the delivery boys.

Well, all their agents are busy at gun shows and filming tea party protests.

“””Police earlier had searched the property, according to neighbors.”””

It appears the CT police have a bit of explaining to do.

Maybe a better plan is to fire these police.

The story seems to be changing by the minute. Rush said that he had been in Pakistan for 8 months after receiving his citizenship and that his family remained in Pakistan. So, I guess he was living in that apartment since he returned to the States. It should be an interesting story about how he obtained his citizenship. I’m also wondering if he was educated in the US.

The police managed to ID him,but they sure blew the search of the house and the attempted flight to Dubai.
Right..and we do now know more about the travels of this terrorist and his college education than we do about Hussein.
