Secret Blackwater Tape

Secret Blackwater tape might not be all it's hyped up to be about Erik Prince. A few media outlets claim they have a secret audio recording that contains 3,500 words made by Prince. It is a rare item because the Blackwater owner has always tried to ban journalists from his public speeches.

Blackwater has dealt with a lot of controversy during the past five years. Erik Prince is the reclusive owner of the special operations company. He rarely gives public speeches and when he does he attempts to ban audio recording and videotaping.

One media outlet claims they have obtained an audio recording of a private speech by Prince. The speech provides a stunning glimpse into his views and future plans. It also reveals specific details of previously undisclosed activities of Blackwater.

In the speech, Prince proposed that the US government deploy armed private contractors

At this point, I don’t really have a problem with these allegations.

Nor do I.

All I want to know is this: Whose side will Blackwater be on when the time comes--the side of loyal American patriots or the side of the Obambi thugocracy?

Obama would get wee wee’d up trying to handle a cooking oil spill in his own kitchen and the entire democrap machine trys to shut down Blackwater (and/or Xe)? What a laugh.

Essential elements of modern warfare include contractors, black marketing, smuggling, prostitution, and drugs. (per a retired 2 star)

Take anything out of the equation and you have nothing but an aimless waste of time. (AKA: The Obama Regime.) All I am implying is this fine fellow is a X in the contractor block, and a good one at that. Nothing else.

They will be on the side with the money, but most of their contractors will bail.

For what purpose, bribery?

These items turn a crappy little scuffle into a real war. Take a look through history. Go back to at least WWII and see what role these elements play. All of them have been deeply involved in a war just as much as soldiers. Inescapable conclusion.

One of the better books I have ever read was about the shenanigans going on as Germany fell in WWII, looting, hoarding, revenge, etc., and not just by the US or allied forces. There were survivors and then there were a few of the natives that were well positioned as “peace” came. Therein lies the lesson.

You might want to consider a more systematic approach to surviving the Obama years.

[In the speech, Prince proposed that the US government deploy armed private contractors to fight “terrorists” in Nigeria, Yemen, Somalia and Saudi Arabia, specifically to target Iranian influence.]

This was the gist of Tom Clancy's book, “Teeth of the Tiger.” The U.S. operatives were sheep-dipped special forces being paid with private funding.

Bill Clinton gave BlackWater its first U.S. contract. He once asked if it was possible to kidnap or kill Saddam using “Ninjas.”

Blackwater helped keep America safe. The Regime and their allies in the newsmedia hate white males.

I will tell you where they will stand... They will be on the side of the US Constitution. Most of them have families here in the states, wives and children, do you think they don’t know what is going on?

I am so sick and tired of people assuming they know what is going on with these contractors. Quit reading all the BS that the MSM puts out!

Have there been a few bad apples....yes none of you know the jobs that they do and the amount of time they spend “outside the wire” basically with nothing but their own skills!

There was a time I wondered about the “money” aspect of it, but over the years, I have come to understand that many of these guys have a hard time coming back here an listening to the whining that goes on. They miss the bond of being with those that they have shared experiences with. A good many of them were involved in the start of Afghanistan back in 2002 and have done multiply tours in a military capacity.

You would be surprised how many do come home for a time and you are standing right next to them at Home Depot, the grocery store or watching a ball game in a bar or he may be that guy sitting next to you in class.

They are not maniacs! They have seen so much more, they do play an important role in what is going on, much more than the media gives them credit for. They are highly skilled and their skills don’t necessarily translate to jobs here in the states, but most of all they have very strong bonds that bring them back.

Eric Prince, thought not perfect has always had a target on his back for his Conservative beliefs, there are so many different companies over there and they have their bad apples too but they don’t get the media attention.

Oh, and when Nancy and all the other morons who rail on them were over there.....who do you think had their backs? The stories of these idiots would blow your mind...I think the fact that they have not been told says a lot about their professionalism.

Thank you for your well thought out comments. Your comments, though, assume I am attacking Blackwater, which is not the case. Perhaps a few clarifications from me are in order. First, I would hope you are right that Blackwater "will be on the side of the U.S. Constitution". And I have no doubt they know exactly "what is going on". But we won't really know what Blackwater will do until that choice has to be made.

My question has nothing to do with any assumptions of mine regarding Blackwater; if anything, those assumptions lead me to believe that, yes, they would defend the Constitution rather than the poseur in the White House. But the belief will have to wait for the reality before we really know. For the record, I pay no attention whatever to anything said, written or otherwise flacked by the drive-by media.

I agree with your view of the Blackwater people. As far as I'm concerned they are heroes who should not have to put up with politically correct show trials. Of course, neither should Navy Seals. But that's the kind of world in which our warriors must operate today, which makes one wonder why more of them don't wash their hands of it entirely.

I get defensive with regard to contractors, they do get a very bad rap. Especially from those who say they only do it for the money, so therefore their loyalties can be bought.

When you break down what they do, how they live and where they work the money is NOT that good!

Pre WWII the US servicemen were discharged from our military, to become members of the Flying Tigers, in China.

The GOP strongly opposed entry into WWII, until Pearl Harbor, so Roosevelt did what he could to assist our allies.
