Unbelievable! Have they done any research at all? A review of the literature? I'm serious. Plenty of data to show this is a bad idea. Just the title is enough to make you scream No!

Wanna’ bet the “Findings” of the committee have already been written? Where’s the NRA? Gun Owners of America? Talk about a lopsided panel. Yeah, a Who’s Who of anti-gunners. . .

If you are an enemy of the United States, (I believe that makes you a criminal.) Therefore, Obama is a criminal.

One of the things that helps me get through the day with all this stuff. . "There's something every day.". . is my friend's comment: "The worse it gets from now until November 2, 2010, the bigger the landslide." That helps some, but how much damage are they going to do from now until then?

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law , St. Paul , Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning last November’s Presidential election:

Number of States won by:
Obama: 19 McCain: 29

Square miles of land won by...:Obama: 580,000 McCain: 2,427,000

Population of Counties won by:Obama: 127 million McCain: 143 million

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2 McCain: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: “In aggregate, the map of the territory McCain won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying Citizens of the country.
Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens livingIn low Income tenements and living off various forms of government Welfare...”

THESE NUMBERS DON’T LIE !!

NY police chief: bomb suspect bought gun in Conn.

(AP) – 58 minutes ago

WASHINGTON — New York’s police commissioner says Times Square bomb suspect Faisal Shahzad purchased a gun in Connecticut in March.

Commissioner Raymond Kelly told a Senate hearing Wednesday that Shahzad took the gun with him when he drove to the airport to board a flight to Dubai.

Kelly and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg told the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee that they support legislation to make it more difficult for suspected terrorists to buy guns.

Investigators have said a gun was discovered in the car Shahzad left at the airport.

Again, have they done any research at all? Criminals don't buy guns legally. Or fine, pass your law and criminals/terrorists will continue to buy them underground and punish law abiding citizens. Sounds brilliant. Duh. . .

Why does this whole Shahzad thing look like an amateurish photo op? The way amateur "car bomb", "the great escape", now he has a gun. . Something fishy about the whole thing - it's almost as if anything happens, who is really behind it, and why? The panty bomber. . . Antenna up.

I think I figured out why the switch in election day colors on those big boards from the MSM. It’s clear the Democrats have ALL taken the “Blue Pill” [Ref: The Matrix]. They are totally blinded to reality because they are completely ruled by their hearts and truly cannot think for themselves — they believe WE are the ones who cannot rationally look at a problem and arrive at a solution, but their attacks belie their true nature.

*EVERYTHING* bad in the world is due to their political nemesis (or whomever they see as such at the moment). First it was BDS, then it was PDS now it’s “TPDS” (Tea Party Derangement Syndrome). They try to paint us with a label of ODS (Obama Derangement Syndrome), but if they bothered to actually LISTEN to what we are saying it’s not ALL about Obama (although to be fair I’d say that he’s makes up a decent portion of the problem, and he’s certainly the most visible as he definitely uses his bully pulpit to frame the issues and put forth falsehoods that work to his political advantage).

As far as clearly identifying the REAL ENEMIES of Freedom, the Constitution, and our Democratic Electoral System; their hearts rule over their minds because they WANT to believe that inside everyone is a warm heart, and that clearly is NOT the case. As sad as it is, the human mind and soul is corruptible — and it is, VERY SAD, especially when we think of the countless children being indoctrinated into a life of hate and victimhood... Children unable to realize goals and dreams because all they see around them is calls for death and destruction and shifting of blame to perceived threats instead of taking personally responsibility for making their own lives better. It breaks my heart to think of these children...

There are people in this world that will NEVER be satisfied. That will NEVER be able to see the world clearly due to the incredibly disgusting indoctrination they have received since they were too young to even understand what was being said. They have been STEEPED in Hatred since their BIRTH. It is all around them, in every way they live their lives. They do NOT see the same world we do — that’s just a FACT — PERIOD.

The *Muslims* they are defending will NEVER see that they are wrong to call for our extermination, because to do so would be to defy their god!!! It’s amazing to me that they can view Christians as a threat, but when it comes to a religion that is actively calling for the extermination of all that disagree with THEIR beliefs they are completely blinded to reality.

It’s disturbingly fascinating really. That the Dems would put specific people, and their party above the good of the nation’s people as a whole. [Don’t get me wrong — the Republican Party, and others have their share of the same people, but by and large the Dems have a disproportionately large number of this people in their ranks...]

That was reported by the NYPD on Saturday night as one of the things in his car... It’s not new.

Why wouldn’t the terrorist have a gun? Is that somehow shocking?

[I get the point of what you’re saying - the MSM using it as an excuse to ban possession of a gun or guns. It’s just that they are using the obvious information to manipulate others, it’s not *new rhetoric* or *breaking*, so to speak 4 days later].

“Years back, someone suggested a rock ‘buy-back’ program.”

I'm for that, I could use it to finance my gun collection! ;)
