NYPD investigating suspicious truck near bridge- Abandoned Truck [Update: all clear has been given]

I don't see this below, so I thought I'd post. The Triborough Bridge here in NYC has been closed because an abandoned rental truck, smelling of gas, has been found on the bridge. Who knows - may be nothing, but I thought it was worth the post.

NEW YORK -- New York City police are investigating a truck abandoned several yards from a toll booth near the Manhattan side of the Triborough Bridge.

Police say witnesses reported seeing a man flee the vehicle Wednesday night.

There is a sort of drip, drip, drip effect isn’t there? A little here, a bigger one there that is plausibly explained by something else.

This sort of thing is why the plane hijackers reportedly made a point of allowing passengers to call out on their cellphones, they wanted to make sure the world knew, no spinning it away.

I just hope the d*** thing isn’t loaded with fertilizer and diesel or something worse. I’d actually be happy to know it’s just illegals, actually.
