The U.S. Border Patrol and Ohio State Highway Patrol today announced that the U.S. Attorneys Office in Toledo will file felony prosecution charges against the illegal alien who fled from Border Patrol Agents on April 25.
At about 7 p.m. that day, Border Patrol agents from the Sandusky Bay Border Patrol Station were traveling west on the Ohio Turnpike when a Dodge Caravan with Arizona plates exhibited "road rage" characteristics with a third party vehicle within a posted construction zone. The Caravan crossed the center line, forcing the Border Patrol Agent to take evasive action and avoid a collision.
After exiting the construction zone, agents initiated a vehicle stop. As agents approached the vehicle the Caravan accelerated and sped off westbound on I-80, Ohio State Troopers were notified. Agents attempted to pursue the vehicle but were unable to safely catch-up in traffic and terminated their pursuit.
At about 7:45 pm Ohio State troopers made contact with the van near mile marker 43. The two men attempted to elude police, losing control and rolling the vehicle over at an off-ramp. One of the men fled the vehicle and troopers pursued him. The man was later caught by Fulton County Sheriffs deputies.

Sounds like the police and Border Patrol were doing some serious PROFILING> They chased a car with tags from ARIZONA.
If I had my way.
1 down 19,999,999 million to go.
When did the USA become a defeatist nation? I keep hearing “conservatives” and others talk about how we CANT deport 20 million people.
Why not? Shouldn’t we try? This is America damn it we do anything if we put our hearts and souls into it. We built the Hoover Dam, The Empire State Building, went to the moon, etc, etc. Deporting 20 million criminals is cake.
Let’s give it a shot I say
Wasn't it George Bush who prosecuted several law enforcement officers for stopping illegal aliens and drug smugglers? Maybe Obama is just carrying on the existing policies. We'll see if these officers are prosecuted by the US attorney.
A new report that actually said the words “illegal alien”! I thought newsroom spell checkers automatically changed that to “immigrant”.
This profiling has to stop!
It's true.
We can't.
We also don't need to.
We need to deport as many as we can, quit giving free education and medical care to illegals, quit giving welfare to illegals, quit giving driver licenses to illegals, make it very troublesome for illegals to find work, and make it unprofitable for folks to hire illegals.
Many more than we deport will "deport" themselves, and fewer will try to enter.
Until we make being an illegal alien extremely unattractive, we will not solve the problem and building a border fence will not stop the invasion.
There was a lead-in time, but officially it happened when a possible illegal alien was allowed to move into public housing at 1600 Penn Ave in the nations capitol.
It should be noted that not all US citizens have adopted the "defeatist" attitude. A little time and much energy will be needed to reverse the situation.

Guess I should have read my own tagline.
It’s been done before...Time to do it again

Does anyone recall a few years ago when Lindsey Graham said in a Press Conference that “some” were suggesting that illegal aliens be shot if they cross the border?
That was MY suggestion.
I still say it’s viable. FIRST advertise what the penalty is for crossing the border illegally. We wouldn’t have to shoot too many of them for them to get the message: Come over through legal means or do not cross our border because you WILL be shot . . . DEAD.
There will be some collateral damage, of course, but the border crossing Mexicans are killing US Citizens as it is. It should be open season on them until they ALL GO BACK HOME if they’re here Illegally.
