As IBD noted in a story Wednesday, Critz has one possible advantage that could prove crucial: The special election falls on the same day as Pennsylvania’s primary. Democrats have competitive races for governor and the Senate. “There is an opportunity here for higher Democrat turnout

Not necessarily. The Dem primary turnout has been very low this year and the GOP primary has been up.

In Ohio, the Democrats had a contested race in the primary for US Senate, but more people voted in the Republican primary than the Democrat primary.

Same old story. Dems talk conservative in the home districts, then vote liberal in DC.

I think the voters are catching on to this.

Ot that he doesent represent Obama's strength, only his weakness.

Remember, Murtha was a proud general in Obama's leftist army, this guy was Murthas campaign nmanager and he's in full hiding. Dont count on him winning, despite the MMM's propaganda.

I’m a bit concerned there’s an upsurge in support for dems from 0bama on down to the House races. The poll averages in RCP bear this out. I’m hoping we haven’t peaked too early.

Any district that kept re-electing that scum Murtha isn't about to get smart real fast.

They will keep voting RAT.

Sestak is the darling of the hard-core Kool Aid drinking true believers in Philly and parts of Pittsburgh. He gains a bit around the edges just from general dislike of Arlen Specter. Critz is trying to look like he is backpedalling from Sestak’s issues fast as possible. If Critz wins it will be for one reason: people in those counties fear they will have no jobs if the John Murtha MilPork Umbilical Cord finally gets cut.

Democratic turnout for the primaries has been dismal.

This more wishful thinking from the MSM.

Let me be the first to point and laugh at Specter. LOL!!! His utter humiliation at being beat in the Dem primary is hilarious.

Payback must hurt, huh? I think the most amusing thing to me would be if he ran indy or tried to come back to us.
