That is funny.

I have never seen a pair of those kind of panties.

What is the point of wearing any panties at all if there is no crotch?

I am guessing what fabric there is to them must be colorful silky sexy?

Okay so I'm bad, but it was funny. If this doesn't make you laugh, you have no sense of humor.

Reminds me of the joke about proof of women's inferiority - women control more than half the money in the United States and all the Pussy... and still men run things...

I guess freedom of speech doesn’t apply in the courthouse.

It never has applied in the courtroom. The judge makes the rules as to who speaks and when and can demand that proper decorum is maintained. His rules are enforced via a contempt citation, jail time, and/or a fine. If you don't like it, stay out of the courtroom.

GtG

No doubt. Two canvas bags, a logging chain, a padlock and a couple of cinder blocks.

I’ve heard worse ideas expressed by defense attorneys, so try another line of reasoning.

I don't need to find another line of reasoning. The judge is ruler in the courtroom. If he feels someone's demeanor, manner of dress or behavior is not appropriate in the courtroom, he has the right to deal with it.

The plain fact is, no one has the "right" to view a court case in the courtroom unless they are the defendant. If they don't want to abide by the rules set down by the judge, they can find something else to do during that time.

Specifically, what law was violated.

It's called contempt of court.

Most people might tend to simply ask the person to leave. By the article judge Helen skipped ahead to locking someone whose clothing she dissaproved of in jail.

Maybe, maybe not. I suspect the judge did, indeed, ask her to leave and the girl got snotty. (Just because it's not reported in the article doesn't mean she didn't. We all know the media tends to leave out things to skew articles to their point of view.)

You may choose to believe the judge jumped the gun and that this 'young lady' was being very well behaved and respectful in the courtroom. Based on my experience with teens like her, I am giving the judge the benefit of the doubt.

Remember when people used to wear a suit to court?

We’ve gotten too casual, although jail doesn’t seem casual.

“She’s no natural beauty but she isnt horribly homely either.”

Ok, granted she’s not, but the fact that she “wears what she wears” isn’t too alluring, either.

“The shock is I AM not attractive at all...”

With all due respect, somehow I doubt that. No offense, but women are the worst when hammering themselves about their looks, appeal, etc.

I wonder if it is style trends.

Do most men have a suit in their closet?
I have no idea, is why I ask.

I dont see women wearing gloves other than for warmth.

And hats are not common unless its a ball cap or knitted cap.

But it is still common knowledge to remove your hat when doin the pledge of alleigence, entering the courtroom, or someones home (a sign of respect).

Face veils or head coverings like pre Vatican2 unless your a muslem woman.

Actually when I see a man in public with a suit on I take a double look as it stands out.

Of course I live in fishing community so it would.

Some style are out that most of us are happy about.
Wearing pants meant for the waistline down to where the good Lord split cha or lower.

Long overly decorated fake nails.

Mini skirts and low low cut blouses, here anyway to darn cold and wet.

The new style around here is wearing dresses with footless pantyhose or leggings.
I love that because you can wear a dress and if the coastal wind (usual) send your dress up to exposing heights you have the leggings on to stay decent.

I dont see allot of high heels.

I suppose location of living has allot to do with what one wears.

“I agree that the shirt was not appropriate for court, but a decent judge would have told her to leave, or cover it up. If she refused, or even protested, THEN contempt of court would be called for.

I don’t have a lot of respect for a woman who would wear such a shirt, but I have 100 times LESS respect for such a vindictive, power crazed judge.”

That’s how I feel about it. You judges want respect? Try earning it for a change.

It obviously is style trends. The trend is toward increasing casualness and ignorance. Her going to jail proves both.

I take this as a good sign.

“She obviously does not make the rules.”

Not in the courtroom she doesn’t. In a courtroom, the judge makes the rules. Period.

Its a court of law not a bowling party.

Outside your court of law, they've rolled out the red carpet for upwards of 40 million illegals, while forcing the tax payers at gun point to pay for this epic coast to coast lawlessness...

Court of law?

lol...

I believe the better course of action for the judge would have been to ask this young dingbat to leave the courtroom. Arresting her was a dumb ass thing to do.

Yeah, but the arrogant, over paid judge, that no doubt believes he himself is above the law, just couldn't help himself...He points, and all the clerks, doormen and dungeon deputy's jump.

Yeah, I’ll just ignore his post and pretend truth and reality are non-existent. Order in the court, all bow.
