Senators from both parties praised the quick arrest of the Times Square car-bomb suspect Faisal Shahzad, but Attorney General Eric Holder on Thursday also heard a lot of grumbling that Shahzad should never have been able to board a plane bound for Dubai.
Theres a lot of concern out there about why the suspect was not apprehended until the jet has pulled away from the gate, Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) told Holder during the appropriations hearing. One really has to wonder: where was the failing here? What happened with this watch list? It makes you wonder whether or not there was a lapse in communication between the FBI and the TSA or the FBI and other law enforcement agencies working at the airport.

What’s this mean, someone who newly comes to the attention of the CIA or other alphabet agency as a terrorism figure of interest doesn’t go onto the watch list until 24 hours later?
Eric is way more concerned about getting hotshot pro bono attorneys for propane boy.
And the occasional passenger that takes 50 years to reach his or her destination.
It doesn't matter WHAT the charge may be nor whether factual or not ... actually, I think they PREFER 100%, rock solid gold TRUTH ...
So they can ignore, obfuscate or just plain tell us it's none of our nusiness .. and NOTHING ever gets corrected.
