I feel sorry for this guy, but the last line really cracked me up. He brought a baton, not a bat-—another stick too small for the job....

You want to make flights safe? Profile, profile, profile. Sorry, may not be idealistic, but you know, it isn't an ideal world. In fact, it is a fallen world, we're all sinners. Lets own up to it and profile, use our resources wisely, make flying safe again, and make it less of a humiliating experience for the average traveller.
