LOL, we went to Sedona, AZ for an Army UAV course in 2007. My whole flight crew rented cars from Sierra Vista, AZ and we all got MULTIPLE tickets from those damn lights on the 101?

The form looked official, but after contacting a JAG friend at Ft. Huachuca, he said, "Ignore them, statute of limitations is 120 days....just don't answer your door to a process server".

And yet I suspect the real reason for the termination of this program is that the contractor in charge of running the operation has decided it wasn't a very good business model.

There was a story a while back about a city in the southwestern U.S. that eliminated its red-light camera program -- because there were so many illegal aliens driving unregistered cars with fake license plates that they couldn't raise the revenue they expected.
