Even many bedrock conservatitives are susceptible to the decades-long, propagandizing effects of white guilt. Many will bend over backwards to try and fit the lukewarm, moderate black Republican into the round, truly Conservative hole.

I do give Obama the benefit of the doubt, probably far more often than he deserves. I assume that many of his mistakes could be due to simply being under-qualified for the job, or his racist prejudice against Jews and the British, rather than that all of them are due to his hatred for America and a conscious decision to destroy my country.

I also have a birth certificate, and unlike BHO's, it has my mother's birth place and occupation at the time, my father's birth place and occupation at the time, the time of day I was born and the signature of the attending physician. It also has how many hours my mother was in the hospital before I was born.

Now, when and if BHO shows me one with similar information, I will not know whether or not that he is a "natural born citizen of the United States".

There were a lot of Condi-olators on this board a few years back who wanted to make her the Republican presidential nominee, though there was never any evidence that I saw that indicated she was a conservative. Makes you wonder on what basis they supported her.
