Bennett never voted for BOcare - on substance or procedural votes. However, you are correct that he authored a bill that was as bad or worse.

It doesn’t matter if Bennett has been mostly conservative: or a “pretty good guy” over the years. A state like Utah shouldn’t have anybody in the Senate who is left of Jesse Helms. I can accept the Carly Fiorinas from CA and the Scott Browns from MA but states like UT, ID and OK should send nothing but fire breathers from their primaries.

Only took 4 years for the Commiecrats to jack unemployment from the time they took office in 2006, 4.5% ....to 10% headed into the fall elections.

I’m still amazed that there are so many stupid people in Arkansas that continue to prefer the Rats.

They are a land that time forgot.

You are correct. I just checked a WSJ article from today that verifies your correction. He did vote for TARP and co-authored an 0bamaLite bill with D-Ron Wyden of Oregon. The lawyer mentioned in the article (Mike Lee) has 37% poll rating versus 20% for businessman Tim Bridgewater versus only 16% for Bennett.

The top two vote-getters at Saturdays convention would advance to the June 22 primary, unless one of the eight candidates garners 60% of the vote to win the nomination outright.

Bennett cannot run as an independent because the filing deadline to do so has passed.

Bennett is not a RINO. He has voted with the GOP a strong majority of the time.

But he has made a number of stupid votes in the last several years. The worst part is that he doesn’t seem in the least bit apologetic about it.

states like UT, ID and OK should send nothing but fire breathers from their primaries.

In Idaho, a vote for Labrador in the May 25th Primary will help make that happen. His style is not to snort flames, but he has a 100% conservative vote record in the last session of Idaho's legislature.

Polls of the Arkansas Senate race show the Republican candidates ahead of both Democrats. It looks promising.

Every poll I have seen shows Lincoln way down against her GOP challengers. She does have primary opposition but looks like she will prevail over them.

Looks good for this seat to flip.

Let's hope the voters are just as unapologetic when they throw the bum out.

Bennett voted for Obamacare? When? I thought all Republicans voted against it!
