Ladies and gentleman, I apologize for the lengthly book review... full disclosure... I did not obtain the above book through Amazon.com, but as a gift from a military friend. Furthermore, I am not a fan of this current administration. I am an American who loves our country and desires for America and my fellow American citizens to be safe always.
As I read the book... and... in preperation of my book review... I simply asked myself several questions I thought are important and appropriate... If the title of the book is true, correct and accurate? Mr. Klein wrote this book (his agenda being his very own) for what purpose? Within the title... he questions Mr. Obama’s... “Ties to Communists, Socialists and Other Anti-American Extremists”. Is that a fair question? Does he have a credible, verifiable and valid point to ask such a question of a sitting president?
Is Mr. Klein seriously, honestly, accurately and truthfully taking into account... historical facts and verifiable truths? Is he correct in his observations, foundation and opinions... or... is he guilty of misconceptions, misinformation and falsehoods? Does he provide credibile “sources”... that can be verified by interested readers? Does he speak with truth or forked tongue? Is he reporting... “sensationalism or statements of pure, true, verifiable facts”?
Most important question I asked myself was... Can possibily Mr. Obama, himself... in his own words, deeds and actions... help to confirm or deny... Mr. Klein’s reported facts?
Well let us look to certain well known facts... which we are all well aware of... again, please remember... the major question is... “Did (or has) Mr. Obama have any ties with Communists, Socialists and other anti-American Extremists”?
May I respectfully remind everyone of....
1. Rev. Wright (a mentor, role model, spiritual advisor... a man of the cloth who professes... God XXXX America. Must I need to remind everyone what the “X’s” represent)?
2. Mr. Van Jones (is he an avowed “communist and socialist”, by his own admission)?
3. Mr. Bill Ayers (does he have “a well recorded history” of being considered a “terrorist and anti-American extremist”, by his own hand and personal actions)?
4. Ms. Valerie Jarret (also a “personal and political advisor” and an admitted admirer of “Mao” as well as a “progressive” in thought and spirit)?
Ladies and gerntlemen, the above indiviuals immediately came to my old, tired and feeble mind. I did find the above “individuals” to be suspect and certainly fall within the parameters for the premise of this book. There appears to be others, but I believe I have made my point.
If the detractors of this book... and its author... are correct in their assertions... then I respectfully challenge them... to please debunk the book... with proven facts and evidence... devoid of politics, name-calling, personal insults and attacks, disrespect and in some cases “racism and anti-American views”. We can all agree to disagree... respectfully. So, why don’t we? Make your points of views with class, dignity and intelligence, nothing more and nothing less, please.
If the truth is there... for all to evaluate for themselves... and the information... “is factual”... and... “there is substantial evidence... to recognize the truth... for what it is”... then a reasonable, open and fair minded individual should use their God given intellect, intelligence and education... to accept bonafide facts... as the truthfulness of a specific issue... and... not believe in lies... because of one’s mis-guided and mis-informed “politics””. Being completely blinded by one’s politics is simply unacceptable and no excuse.
As “Americans”, our obligation to our country and one another is absolute. We must never follow any political party or politician blindly. The study of “history” tells us why we musn’t. As informed citizens, we must always ask questions and seek truthful answers to our concerns, fears and questions.
No politician or political party... gets a free pass, nor is above the law and the citizens of the United States of America. These politicians, of all parties work for us, not the other way around. They must all be held personally responsible and professionally accountable for their behavior, actions, in-actions, re-actions, interactions, ties, friends, associates, associations and contacts. Afterall, we are all held accountable in some sense and to some extent, aren’t we? We are all judged by “our associations and friends”.
May God Bless America, the men and women serving in the United States Marine Corps, the United States Navy, the United States Coast Guard, the United States Air Force and the United States Army... as well as their families... those “Veterans”, who have honorably served... and... all reasonable, sensible, common-sensed Americans of any political party. May God also bless every peace loving country and their people on earth.
For those of you who do not agree with my book review (or opinions), of course that is your perrogative and I respect same. However... please ask yourself “why”... you are disagreeing with me? What have I opined... is incorrect? Please correct me. I would be interested... to respectfully know... why you feel as you do... “devoid of politics”... of course. The truth should not offend any political affiliations one might have.
Afterall, men, women and children have died all around the world, since history began, to defend “truth”. Asking appropriate and pertinent questions and seeking truthful answers... is by all definition, the American way and is the duty, as well as obligation, of every American citizen and patriot.
Whether you agree or disagree, with my book review and/or opinions, I thank you, very much, for taking the time to read my book review and opinions....
