Fox and Friends: little girl getting a weeks detention for Jolly Rancher possession...(vanity)

Posted on 05/09/2010 7:15:22 AM PDT by cycle of discernment

Seriously, is there any hope for us at this point?

Just watched a little 6 year old that has been chagrined and punished with a weeklong detention by her grammar school because a friend gave her a green Jolly Rancher hard candy in the lunchroom, and a teacher caught her with it.

So let me get this straight. Nowadays, we are forced to expose our elementary graders to "Heather's Two Mommies", how to practce safe sex, the joys of pro-choice in eliminating pesky unwanted human life-- but heaven forbid they act as CHILDREN and break the all sacred GOVERNMENT nutrition law of having a piece of hard candy??

The look on the little girl's face..when Alison Camerata primly said: "Now school is about learning...What have you learned from this experience?" As if to impy this is the most outrageous infraction...a SHAMEFUL ACT.

The little girl with eyes downcast, quietly and dutifully answered "To never have candy in school".

Oh yes..an immortal sin! Hopefully the child can be redeemed through efficient action by the STATE.

Yes, the tender forming mind is being imprinted early on by the new rules of the BORG, raining down imperial judgement on this child, courtesy of the socialist/communst educational machine!

But let's rally round when she shows up for her gender reassignment post adolescence, courtesy of a complete fracturing of her innate identity by statist propaganda.

We’ve got 4 kids and my husband and I both play multiple instruments, but we can’t make a full symphonic band out of just us.

My son was chewed out in front of the whole class to the point of tears because he muttered under his breath, “Al Gore is an idiot” when the language arts class was forced to watch “An Inconvenient Truth”. (Never mind the f-words that the other kids regularly use and get a “Now now.”)

For his persuasive essay he chose to discuss the global warming hoax. When the language arts teacher asked him what he was writing on he said he was going to show that global warming is a hoax. The teacher said he was delusional.
**************************************************************I talked to a German Jewish girl that was married to a GI as I was, about her family. I ask her what was her attitude toward Hitler, as her dad was taken in the night and she and her mom never knew what happened to him.
I could not believe their answer was about the good things Hitler did, such as giving them jobs when the economy was
so they had no jobs.
Can you imagine how brain washed the people can be?
God has taken away and money is the God.
Schools have been training the kids for years. Where do you think these teachers came from?
Horror stories come from our schools. In my home town Dem's run our school system and always have. ( I am 75 and I now see how they started with us.)
Thank God for Glenn Beck and the history he teaches./
( I am a good thinker but not a good writer.)

I’m gonna have to take a different stance here. Seems like I’m hearing from you that it’s OK to break some rules? I think this incident has taken a step in the RIGHT direction in teaching the child it’s NOT ok to break rules.

**All** schools need rules to maintain order and safety. Children need rules to help them grow into responsible adulthood.

In private schools rules and regulations for the children are privately negotiated between the parents, teachers, and principals. The lesson learned by the children is that caring adults ( their parents with the help of people their parents trust) are helping them develop the character they need to be successful in life.

Unless the parents in this article are financially able to **ransom** their daughter from the government school, the child is in this government (prison-like) setting by COMPULSION OF LAW!

In many ways children ( who have committed no crime) are treated in their government indoctrination camp like prisoners. They are stripped of their First Amendment Rights to free speech, press, assembly, and free expression of religion for most of the day they are under the supervision of state employees. They are ordered by the state when to eat, rest, speak, exercise, and this case, even **what** they are allowed to eat. Their parents must submit to the whims of the voting mob who elect the school board. The school board elections are dominated by the communist infiltrated teachers unions. The parents can not freely choose among schools whose policies best reflect the values taught in the home.

In essence children who attend government schools learn to be good little prisoners of the fascist state.

Regarding government schools, the above can NOT NOT NOT be reformed since it is intrinsic to the very system of socialist-funded, socialist-modeled, single payer government schools. And...Soon our health care system will have all the flaws that we see in government schooling. Government schools **are** socialism. Socialism can not be reformed.

The only hope is if we conservatives infiltrate the education system and take it back.

Please read post #42.

It is impossible to "take back" socialist government schools. What? How can socialism be fixed? How can conservatives make socialism into conservativism? This is not possible.

Not proof read. I am in a rush this morning.

The only solution is to simultaneously shut down the government schools and provide our nation's children with private conservative education alternatives.

Simply by attending socialist schools children learn to be socialists. They learn to be comfortable with taking their neighbor's money to pay for a service that their parents want tuition-free! Do this for 13 years and they won't have any problem with having the government take money from their neighbor for a thousand other wants and needs!

Think about this. Within one to two generations of socialist schooling my great-grandparents and grandparents approved the IRS, the federal reserve, the failed "one world" League of Nations, appropriated lands for national parks with a stroke of the pen and without compensation, and voted for Woodrow Wilson.

My parents and grandparents thought Franklin D. Roosevelt was Moses, and fully approved of his socialist New Deal which prolonged the Great Depression.

My parents voted for Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson and his Great Society. And...later watched as the gold standard was abolished.

Socialist-funded and modeled government schools MADE OBAMA INEVITABLE!!!

When children attend schools that take money from their neighbor children learn that it is OK for the government to take money from their neighbor for services that their parents want for FREE!!!

Yuri Besmenov had a name for it: DEMORALIZATION!

Please do a Google on the words Yuri Besmenov and Demoralization.

Yet...Conservatives have NO PLAN for RE-moralization!!!!

“When I was in school my mother wouldn’t have sent me to school with candy but if we had it we weren’t allowed to eat it in class and that was pretty much it.”

Had she gotten the candy at home there would have been no problem, but the child got the candy from another student. Here is an excerpt from an article about the incident-

Jolly Rancher lands Brazos ISD third-grader in detention for a week

“According to the Texas Department of Agriculture’s website, “The Texas Public School Nutrition Policy (TPSNP) explicitly states that it does not restrict what foods or beverages parents may provide for their own children’s consumption.”

Brazos Elementary Principal Jeanne Young, said the problem, in this instance, was that the candy was provided by another student – not the girl’s parents.”

I tried to warn people on what was happening in the late 70’s but no one listened.

That is a pretty silly game,in my opinion.”

I’m glad she didn’t have to suffer through them. I wish my kids didn’t have to.

And there are so many assignments that are sheer busy-work. Teaching is what I am trained in (I was a Lutheran schoolteacher before we had our kids) so I know how they do goals and objectives, what kind of TSWBAT (”the student will be able to”) objectives are involved, and I am furious at the way the teachers waste my kids’ time teaching them nothing.

The son I mentioned LOVES dealing with ideas. I was up late one night this past week helping him understand some of the global warming facts we have and he looked back at me with dreamy but blurry eyes, and said, “Mom, this is sort of like Heaven to me. I can’t think of anything I’d rather be doing than spending time with you learning stuff that matters to me.”

This kid LOVES learning, with a passion. But he hates school. And I can’t blame him.

It’s scary how effective propaganda can be.

I was surprised to see in an interview of Yuri Bezmenov (a former KGB propagandist who defected to American and warned of the danger of the communists) that he talked about their intention to make a crisis, at which point they give up the disguise by which they have previously suckered people into thinking them benevolent. He said:

“So the next stage is destabilization. This time subverter does not care about your ideas and the patterns of your consumption. Whether you eat junk food and get fat and flabby doesn’t matter any more. This time, and it takes only from two to five years to destabilize a nation, it’s the, what, what matters is essentials. Economy, foreign relations, defense systems.”

They’re still piddling around with the junk food meme to make it appear that they’re benevolent but they’re doing it even as they are destroying the essentials. The python is still winding tighter and tighter but we’re at the point where the full-out squeeze to kill this nation is in the works.

We’re reaching the point of no return. Obama is well ahead of the curve with the destabilization he’s done in just a year and a half. He has 2 full years in office before anybody we elect in the midterms is in office to try to undo any of the damage. At the pace he’s going he may well have this country strangled by the 2-year mark that Bezmenov mentioned as the potential timeline.
