I am curious to know if red is more susceptible to artifacts caused by digital compression than other colors. It certainly seems that's possible from that pic. Still, I'd sure like to hear conformation of the signs message from other bystanders who may have seen it.
I don't agree with you about the handle though. It looks very “fishy.”

What happens when you put a red sock in with the whites?

*** Let’s pretend that Mexico actually had the legal right to California, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and the other territories you claim.***

That area was legally obtained with the Treaty of Guadalupe Hildago and the Gadsen Purchase. After capturing it in war, GOLD was given to the mexican government to give up all claim to the area.

If the US had never gone west of the Mississippi River we today would have patrol boats to stop the flow of illegal aliens into the eastern states.

Are the Mexicans now trying to claim all of the US in accord to the Pope’s division of the New World between the Spanish and Portugese?

“What happens when you put a red sock in with the whites?”

Almost the same thing that happened when I put my green towel into the wash with my white sheets! I don’t think that washing machine “artifacts” prove digital photo artifacts. And why do my tee shirts turn inside-out in the washing machine.

Reminds me of a group of people in the Middle East. Their flag and the Mexican flag even look alike. Guess who? The Palestinians.

Point is, that Green will probably be less noticeable on the white. Example; there is a bunch of Green haze around the trees in that pic. It’s just not as noticeable.

Colors affect each other similarly regardless of medium.

I fear a *trigger* event could happen any day now.

The race-baiters have the Hispanics worked up into a frenzy.

“Now if only Bibi were our guy.”

I told another freeper the other day:

“I said it jokingly, but it would work..... Take a 50 mile strip..of Mexico all along the border. Bring the Israeli’s
in and let them settle it. End of problem.”

And Bibi? That voice... The man’s voice mesmerizes me. I’m afraid I’d believe anything he told me! lol

Seriously, this president and his state dept demand Israel stop building in their country to suit the Palistinians.
One day they might tell Tex, Ca, AZ, NM to stop building in their states to settle their citizens just to make the Mexicans happy.

Mexico is our Palestine. And they don’t like us any better than the PLO does the Jews.

Seems like they all belong to the something-for-nothing tribe. Next thing you know the UN will stick its nose in this situation just like they’ve done for the Pali’s. Obama wll probably issue them an invitation.

Something-for-nothing tribe! LOVE IT!!!!

“Next thing you know the UN will stick its nose in this situation just like they’ve done for the Pali’s.”

Hate to be the one tell you, but Mexico and others have requested the UN get in the middle of this.

[snip]Michoacan state congress acts against Arizona

“The LXXI Legislature will also exhort the federal government so that, by means of the Department of Foreign Relations, it might begin appropriate action and demand the United Nations, specifically the International Court of Justice, to respect of the human rights of the migrants who reside in Arizona, and that it follow on a timely basis the judicial actions begun and aimed at impeding said law from going into effect.”

Jackson “hated” the Indians so much that he adopted one as his own son. Of course the Trail of Tears certainly was not a highpoint, but I still think the greatness of Jackson is that he created the Manifest Destiny that led to us taking as much as we could of North America. Polk idolized Jackson and extended on what Jackson had begun, which includes kicking the crap out of Mexico and taking the American Southwest. By today’s limp-wristed PC standards, both would be compared to Hitler - But they were both Great Americans and Great Presidents. Today’s liberals can rot in hell.

Dude, they consider anywhere they are part of Mexico. I think they are claiming anything within 1000 miles of where de Soto traveled. Even if they’re living in New Jersey it’s ‘Yanqui go home.’

If alive(Polk, Jackson), they would probably immediately challenge the idiot Gore to a duel.

Duels were only done by social equals.

Gore would rate just a harsh caning.

Read: 1856 caning of anti-slavery Senator Charles Sumner by pro-slavery Congressman Preston Brooks

I'dd even spring for the Gutta-percha cane

So true.

Mexico's problem isn't we took basicly uninhabitable desert and mountains and turned it into a prosperous land

Mexico never reflected the ideals that made the "Unidos de Estatos" the superpower it is today.

Mexico has stumbled from autocratic Spain to socialist tyranny and oligarchy of a few families and heading to anarchy "rule"of drug lords.

The thought they are slowly turning America into another Socialist Mexico(Overwhelming the capitalist gringos)creating the disaster they are fleeing from, has never occurred to their radical Marxist heads....

Go figure.

Jackson “hated” the Indians so much that he adopted one as his own son.

Jackson continued the long tradition of reneging on previous Indian treaties. Thousands of Indians perished during the forced relocations.

Of course the Trail of Tears certainly was not a highpoint, but I still think the greatness of Jackson is that he created the Manifest Destiny that led to us taking as much as we could of North America.

Jackson retired after serving as President in 1837. The Manifest Destiny, at least as a term, was evidently created by a New York journalist in 1839.

I didn’t say he invented the term Manifest Destiny. He instigated the belief that we shall overcome most of the Continent westward. - Jeez talk about clutching at straws.
