What amused me more was at the end of the article:
Meanwhile, Woods was heckled by a young boy following his exit in the tournament, CBS reported. The boy who waiting in line to get a Phil Mickelson autograph yelled out: "Say goodbye to No. 1, Tiger. Kiss it goodbye" as Woods walked past.
"Be polite," Mickelson told the boy.
Lefty's a class act, but I bet he was grinning as he said that.

If a male anchor said something comparable about a female
golfer, his career would be over. Having said that, I do think it’s hilarious.

I’ve known a number of people who have had disk problems lower in the back and I’ve seen mixed results from both treatment and surgery. This could be a big problem for Tiger.

Ive known a number of people who have had disk problems lower in the back and Ive seen mixed results from both treatment and surgery. This could be a big problem for Tiger. Looks like Jack Nicklaus' record is safe.

He had a bulging WHAT in his backside?
I hear that can be painful. This would probably qualify him to be an Obama nominee to the Supreme Court.”

I just had lunch with a friend at the hospital. While walking in, a young lady in scrubs was on her cell phone, just as we passed, she blurted out loudly, “Did he give it to you in the butt?” We know she was talking about a shot, but we couldn’t keep a straight face.

For all his screw-ups, I hope he gets the help, health and otherwise he needs.. cost is no option, obviously.

Looks like Jack Nicklaus' record is safe. Could be. It's not that I condone his allegedly former lifestyle. I think Tiger got it right when he called his behavior "disgusting." But I'd hate to see his career cut off due to physical injury.

Even if Tiger were healthy, there is a new crop of golfers coming up that are ready to challenge.

Who on earth cares if a millionaire golfer’s career is cut off due to physical injury?
He’s had a life most of us can only dream of.

I seriously doubt that Tiger withdrew.

Yea, he had a pain in the neck . . .
If he were on his game, no problem . . . lousy day at the links . . . solution - get out of Dodge (real fast)!
I predicted long ago, this marital problem would be Wood’s demise.
To: Mears
I hate to see any athlete's career cut short by injury, but it's really rare to see in golf. I think Tiger has the potential to be the best who ever played the game and I'd like to see if his is or not.
Besides, whatever he earns in the future will also go to his kids and probable ex-wife.
