Yahoo refuses to return any references to my seven or so replies on FR. "We did not find results for: "minarets of terrorism". Try the suggestions below or type a new query above."
Bing returns one by me and one by dynachrome both from the day Savage first used the phrase. After that absolutely no reference to any of my replies on FR.
google returns them all!
I am so glad Dr. Savage coined this phrase. For years I've been looking something equivalent to North Vietnamese General Giap's post-war comment that the most important guerrilla during the Vietnam War was the American press.
Thanks to Savage and a little modification I now have it, The American media are the Islamists' most important muezzins.
So far Dr. Savage's latest original has not gone viral. Even appears that no variation exists.. minarets of anything is not used as a pejorative.
Minarets of menace has long been common but it refers to Islamist influence.
Another day when Savage covers more factual ground before the first commercial break during the first hour on Monday than anyone else in the media will get to all week.

I had been using Yahoo more and more but now I will cease -- they are dolts or deniers. I used to call 'em YaHu because of their apparent truckling to the Chi-Coms.
