This is truly one of the most troubling news stories I have come across since President Obama took office, and that says a lot from my point of view. I have tried to warn people in general, but Christian in particular about the evil fruit that Liberalism cannot but produce. We may be about to witness this on a global scale as President Obama will have the United States join the United Nations backed Alliance of Civilizations.

Thanks for putting all that info together. :) We have a lot of research and work ahead of us if we are to stop these con men in their tracks before they hijack our freedoms and liberties.

Get the word out people and stop the American Power Act from becoming law. This evil bill will take away our freedoms.

Don't wait for a big push to start calling. START CALLING Capital Hill NOW!!! And tell them you are against this Climate Change, Errr...Cap N Trade, Errr...American Power Act now. Tell them they can rename it all they want but it is still nothing more than the same scam we keep rejecting. Like the Health Care Bill start calling, emailing, myspace, facebook, twitter, and writing now and everyday. Contact you local news media and voice your protest against this. We need to start hitting them hard on this now so we have the momentum and not the left. We need to kill this evil thing early and fast.

Read through more of the information that there was barely time to peruse last night.....

Thought: “Big Oil” is constantly under attack from the left and yet “big Oil the is means to which they manipulate world scenarios, politics etc.

Another example of Marx's accuse the other of what they are doing themselves.

Keep everyone busy looking at one hand while the other hand does the dirty work....

Look for a BC, while ???? is really the problem.

Place a terrorist off the no fly list so he can attempt a bombing....staged?...While what else is happening?

Now the tinfoil is really going to town......

Still wonder if the glitch in the stock market was just a “sample” to warn someone to get back on the reservation....suspect something similar was used in 2008 to make GWB go along with the bail out etc.

Is there no way to stop them?

Assembling the Team

During 2000 and 2001, the Joyce Foundation, a progressive trust with assets near $1 billion, known for funding groups like Center for American Progress and Tides Foundation, provided grants to CCX totaling $1.1 million. State Senator Obama served on the foundation’s board of directors during that time and was instrumental in awarding the grants.

Shortly after the first grant was approved, the president of The Joyce Foundation, Paula DiPerna, left to join the executive team of CCX. Other notables with familiar names soon followed.

• Former Vice-President Al Gore became part-owner of CCX when his company, Generation Investment Management, made a sizeable investment. Gore brought with him his senior partner at GIM, David Blood, former CEO of Goldman Sachs Asset Management, along with a company chalk full of former Goldman Sachs’ executives

• Goldman Sachs itself soon joined the team buying a ten percent interest in CCX

• Maurice Strong, once linked to Tongsun Park, the central figure in the United Nation’s oil-for-food scandal in 2005 and one of the architects of the Kyoto Protocol, joined the CCX board of directors

• Carlton Bartels was one of the first, and perhaps most important, additions to the CCX roster. As CEO of a company called CO2e, Bartels developed and delivered the actual guts of the exchange — a system for facilitating and managing the actual carbon trades

Strange Bedfellows

Just three weeks after filing for a patent for his carbon trade system, Bartels was killed during the attacks of 9/11. Bartels’ death opened the door for a new partner to join CCX, easily the oddest fit of them all: Fannie Mae. In a move still unexplained, the quasi-governmental mortgage agency, led by CEO Franklin Raines, purchased the rights to the system from Bartel’s widow. A patent on the invention was granted to Raines and Fannie Mae on November 7, 2006, ironically, the day after the Democrats regained control of Congress. According to Barbara Hollingsworth of the Washington Examiner, the patent covers both the “cap” and “trade” parts of Obama’s top domestic energy initiative and gives Fannie Mae proprietary control over the automated trading system used by Sandor’s CCX.

When asked about the patent recently Fannie Mae communications director Amy Bonitatibus told the Washington Examiner, “Fannie Mae earns no money on this patent. We can’t conjecture as to the cap-and-trade legislation.” A source close to Fannie Mae, however, says a plan is in place to funnel future earnings from the patent to a non-profit housing organization called Enterprise Community Partners. Ironically, Raines, who left Fannie Mae in 2004 amidst allegations that he inflated earnings reports in order to collect higher bonuses ($52 million in bonuses over 5-years; $90 million in total compensation), serves on the board of trustees at Enterprise. In a continuation of theme, Goldman Sachs also has a representative on the board in the person of Alicia Glen.

In 1992 Maurice Strong was the Secretary General of the historic United Nations (UNCED) Earth conference in Rio.

It was hoped that an Earth Charter would be the result of this event. This was not the case, however an international agreement was adopted – Agenda 21 – which layed down the international "sustainable development" necessary to form a future Earth Charter agreement.

Maurice Strong hinted at the overtly pagan agenda proposed for a future Earth Charter, when in his opening address to the Rio Conference delegates he said, "It is the responsibility of each human being today to choose between the force of darkness and the force of light."

[Note: Alice Bailey, and Blavatsky before her, used these terms often. Their writings state that the 'force of darkness' are those who adhere to the 'out-dated' Judeo-Christian faith; those who continue along their 'separative' paths of the one true God. The 'force of light' (Lucifer), in there view, is the inclusive new age doctrine of a pagan pantheistic New World Religion. In the New Age of Aquarius there will be no room for the 'force of darkness' and 'separativeness'.]

The Earth Charter stresses that man is his own saviour. By saving "mother earth" we will once again return to an idyllic Garden of Eden.

But instead of worshipping the Creator, the New Age Aquarian conspirators wish to plunge us headlong into a creation-worship new world religion.

Very good introduction. I'll post your article in the blog, Investigating Obama now.

I also updated Question 1 in "SOVEREIGNTY NOW - Three Critical Questions for ALL Politicians & Candidates," to reflect "sustainable development."

You may also wish to promulgate Brannon Howse's expose' on this. Maybe I have the time to find it, today. Don't know. It was presented on his radio program, last year.

Hanne and Maurice Strong acquired the big track of land knows as the Baca Ranch in 1978. Guided by the vision of Native American elders that his land had a great purpose, and her own desire to establish a sustainable, interfaith retreat community in North America, Hanne began to implement a new kind of development. She consolidated tracks of land and gave them to traditional religious and educational/intellectual organizations. By 1988, the following centers had been established: the Spiritual Life Institute (Carmelite monastery), the Crestone Mountain Zen Center, The Haidakhandi Universal Ashram, the Sri Aurobindo Learning Center, the Aspen Institute ( which was later acquired by Colorado College), and the San Luis Valley Tibetan Project.

In 1988, Hanne and Maurice founded the Manitou Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization, to provide land and financial support to qualified spiritual organizations, earth stewardship programs, and related educational opportunities for youth and adults. To date, the Foundation has granted land to the Baca Center for High Altitude Sustainable Agriculture; EDUCO, a youth leadership and Earth Restoration Corps training center; Mangal Shri Bhuti (Nyingma Tibetan Buddhist lineage); SUBUD (which utilizes environmental and sustainable technologies for building and agriculture); Naropa Institute; and Yeshe Khorlo, a Bhutanese Tibetan retreat center. Applications for land grants from a Shinto organization, a Gelugpa Tibetan monastery, Zorastrian, Kriya Yoga, and a Native American group were under consideration as of 2000.

The Crestone/Baca community of centers of the world's religious traditions is currently the largest intentional interfaith ecumenical community in North America. The Foundation has also instigated its own solitary retreat hermitage project, providing the opportunity for individuals to focus on their contemplative practices.

Not related to Maurice Strong but still of very great importance...

the Mitrokihn Archive is something Beck should be aware of if he isn't already.

Vasili Mitrokhin (senior archivist for the Soviet Union's foreign intelligence service) complied a secret archive while working in the Soviet Union for the NKVD and then the KGB... he fled to the UK in 1992.

There are numerous confirmations of Communist ties in these archives that can be proven. All you have to do is look.

Mitrokhin died in 2004 and the US news media never took an interest. There were to large volumes chronicling his life and his defection and archive published in 2005.

Churches duped by green extremists

By Henry Lamb
web posted April 1, 2002

In a March 26, story by John Fialka, the Wall Street Journal reported that churches in 21 states were mounting an all-out attack against the Bush administration’s proposal to open the Arctic Natural Wildlife Refuge to oil exploration. This campaign is coordinated by the National Religious Partnership for the Environment.

Few, if any, of the churches realize that the NRPE is the outgrowth of deep ecologists who believe the Bible is obsolete, that the earth, gaia, is the giver of life, that human beings are but individual cells in the gaia organism, and that the United Nations is the evolving “brain” of gaia.

Paul Gorman, director of the NRPE, was director of the Temple of Understanding, housed at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York. He organized a “Joint Appeal,” consisting of 22 scientists and 100 religious leaders that became the NRPE. Mikhail Gorbachev hosted a conference for the group in Moscow, where James Lovelock, author of The Ages of Gaia, was the featured speaker. Dr. Robert Muller, thirty-year deputy Secretary General of the U.N., and Thomas Berry, served on the Temple’s board of directors.

Writing for World Goodwill, in October, 1989, Robert Muller said:

“We are part and parcel of a living planetary organism. Each of us is a cell, a perceptive nervous unit of the Earth. You as cosmic and earth cells, are part of a vast biological and evolutionary phenomenon.... We have now a world brain which determines what can be dangerous or mortal for the planet: the United Nations and its agencies, and innumberable (sic) groups and networks around the world, are part of the brain.”

Muller readily admits that his beliefs are based largely on the writings of Alice Baily, who founded the Lucifer Publishing Company, and whose works are said to be transmitted by an “ascended master,” called Djwhal Khul.

Thomas Berry’s belief system, called “Cosmolatry,” is even more bizarre. In his Dream of the Earth, he says:

“This re-enchantment with the earth as a living reality is the condition for our rescue of the earth from the impending destruction that we are imposing upon it. To carry this out effectively, we must now, in a sense, reinvent the human as species within the community of life species. Our sense of reality and of value must consciously shift from an anthropocentric to a biocentric norm of reference.”

Berry compares man’s belief that God created the earth, to the ancient belief that the sun revolved around the earth. He says both beliefs are wrong, and the truth is only now being discovered through what he calls “enlightenment.”

Senators Al Gore, Timothy Wirth, and James Jeffords were instrumental in the creation of the NRPE. They arranged Congressional breakfasts with NRPE leaders, helped with funding, and Al Gore delivered a sermon at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, which is reported in Cathedral literature this way:

“I saw children lying in the laps of large dogs and a boy bringing his stuffed animals to be blessed. I saw the not-yet famous elephant and camel march up the aisle; a lawyer who scoops the poop and enjoys being clown-for-a-day; a priest who finds himself covered with wriggling ferrets; a man and a woman who meet when their leashes become enmeshed; a volunteer gardener marching to the altar with a bowl full of compost and worms; a sermon by Al Gore, in which he called on the congregants to recognize that ‘God is not separate from the Earth.’”

The NRPE avoids telling the participating churches the true nature of their agenda. Instead, they are exploiting the churches, converting them into lobbying machines for their extremist policies.

Mikhail Gorbachev, and the U.N.’s Maurice Strong have promoted the Earth Charter, which is expected to replace the Ten Commandments as the basis for social and religious organization. The Earth Charter has been placed in an Ark, and is being ceremoniously conveyed to Johannesburg, South Africa for adoption by the World Summit on Sustainable Development next August.

Churches that promote the NRPE are promoting a new, biocentric, Godless, global religion. Most of them have no idea.

A thorough, well-documented report on the NRPE was published by the Environmental Conservation Organization in 1996, and republished by the Chair of Free Enterprise at the University of Texas. The Rise of Global Green Religion, and the 2001 update are available to ECO members.

Henry Lamb is the executive vice president of the Environmental Conservation Organization, and chairman of Sovereignty International.

Christian churches targeted by pagans

A group called the Temple of Understanding, affiliated with the Gaia Institute and the United Nations Global Committee of Parliamentarians on Population Development, is behind a new push to inundate Christian churches with nature-worshipping propaganda.

The effort is organized under the auspices of the National Religious Partnership for the Environment, which works with the National Council of Churches, the Coalition on the Environment and Jewish Life, the Evangelical Environmental Network, and the U.S. Catholic Conference. The $5 million program, funded by Ted Turner and other liberal foundations, attempts to politicize 100 million Americans in 53,000 congregations.

“It is unmistakably clear that the new partnership is the brain child of anti-Christian New Age pagans who promote an environmental religion known as Gaia,” says Tom DeWeese, president of the American Policy Center.

The partnership has sent 53,000 congregations, including every Catholic parish and every Jewish synagogue in the nation, “education and action kits.” The kits contain Sunday school and sermon resource material carefully planned to fit into the doctrine of the particular denomination targeted.

A pillar of the Temple of Understanding is a man named Maurice Strong, who was secretary-general of the first U.N. Earth Summit, which called for 50 percent of the land in each of the 50 states to be turned into wilderness areas where no humans would be allowed to enter. Strong, a millionaire proponent of one-world government, owns a ranch in Colorado where he has built a Babylonian sun god temple, which serves as the center of New Age religious activities. For more on Strong, see “The Coming World Government.” (Matthew 24:11; I Timothy 4:1; Revelation 9:20)

Christian Pulpits Invaded By Green Propaganda
RADICAL GREENS USE CHURCHES TO FORCE SENATE SUPPORT OF UN’S GLOBAL WARMING TREATY
by Tom DeWeese

The National Council of Churches (NCC) has launched a major drive to enlist Christian congregations in a massive letter-writing campaign in support of the United Nation’s global warming treaty that was negotiated in Kyoto, Japan last December. The treaty must still be ratified by the U.S. Senate.

The treaty has met major opposition in the Senate because compliance will force the United States to cut back on energy use by at least 30%; increase the price of gasoline by as much as 50 cents per gallon; and cause severe energy shortages and possible gas lines across the nation. The treaty is supported by a coalition of radical-left environmental groups who advocate central control of the nation’s economy. Most scientists now agree that the treaty would do little to protect the environment.

The National Council of Churches has a long history of supporting and promoting leftist causes. For example, documents captured from communist guerrillas in El Salvador in 1983 implicated the NCC in channeling money to those communist insurgents. The NCC was also involved in promoting the communist Nicaraguan Sandinista Party and the communist FRELIMO government of Mozombique.

So it comes as no surprise that the NCC is now heavily involved in promoting the radical environmental agenda as well. The NCC’s General Secretary, Rev. Joan Brown Campbell says the goal is to make global warming “a litmus test for the faith community.”

In truth, this effort by the National Council of Churches, along with the U.S. Catholic Conference and the Evangelical Environmental Network, is part of a nation-wide drive by radical greens to influence American churches into promoting unfounded, nonscientific environmental policies.

Beginning in 1993, more than 100 million Americans in 67,000 congregations became the target of radical leftist environmental propaganda, fueled by over $5 million in grants from private foundations. The goal is to break down the strongest resistance to an environmental movement that advocates earth worship, and the idea that man is only equal to rocks, plants and animals. Much of the opposition to such ideas is strongest in America’s Christian churches.

The National Religious Partnership for the Environment (NRPE) announced its $5 million dollar program on October 4, 1993 at the Mount Gilead Baptist Church in Washington D.C. Its stated purpose was to “underscore the connection between addressing issues of poverty and the environment.” The Partnership is a formal agreement among four of the nation’s largest religious organizations: the U.S. Catholic Conference; National Council of Churches; Coalition on the Environment and Jewish Life; and the Evangelical Environmental Network.

Funding comes from (among others) Pew Charitable Trusts, Stephen C. Rockefeller, the Turner Foundation, W. Alton Jones Foundation and the New World Foundation.

The Partnership’s Executive Director, Paul Gorman, said “...how people of faith engage the environment crisis will have much to do with the future well-being of the planet, and in all likelihood, with the future of religious life as well.”

But rather than promoting some kind of a “Christian” answer to environmental questions, in truth, many of those involved with the Partnership are unabashed earth-worshipping pagans who promote a religion called “Gaia”. In fact, the objectives of the NRPE are nothing less than the transformation of social order into a global society organized around the notion that the earth itself is the giver of life, and that all of the world’s religions are evolving into a state of enlightenment that recognizes Gaia as the true source of life and spirituality, and is the only relevant object of worship.

Such a “transformation” is the exact end result that the UN’s global warming treaty will have on American society, should it be ratified by the U.S. Senate. That is why the NCC has launched its all-out drive to force that ratification.

The Partnership operates out of an Anglican church in New York City called St. John the Divine. The Cathedral is also the home of The Gaia Institute and the Temple of Understanding. The Temple is an official UN “Non-government Organization (NGO), making it a direct partner in the United Nation’s global agenda.

Among the directors of the Temple is the Reverend Thomas Berry, In his book, “Dream of the Earth” (published by Sierra Club Books), Berry never uses the work “God” but speaks of a supernatural force in the universe. He says that “we should place less emphasis on Christ as a person and a redeemer. He tells Christians that they should put the Bible away for twenty years while “we radically rethink our religious ideas.”

Also part of the Temple of Understanding is Maurice Strong, Secretary General of the 1993 UN Earth Summit and now number two man at the United Nations. Strong has said, “isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring that about?” Strong has owned a ranch in Colorado where he built a Babylonian sun god temple. The ranch became a hotbed of a variety of New-Age religious activities.

Those who worship at the Temple of Understanding follow the teaching of Peter Singer, the father of animal rights. He wrote, “Christianity is our foe. If animal rights is to succeed, we must destroy the Judeo-Christian religious tradition.” Helen Caldicott, of the Union of Concerned Scientists, a former Soviet KGB front group and a driving force in the Temple, says, “Capitalism is destroying the earth.”

Now these same people have launched a massive campaign to form an environmental partnership with Christians. Can there be any doubt as to their motivation? Western Culture, with its very foundation in Christianity, is the target. Destroy Christianity and our whole way of life, our laws, our relationships to one another, our humanity, will be destroyed.

The Partnership is highly organized. Its Education and Action kits are prepared for each faith, and each denomination. Sermons and Sunday school materials are written to fit into the individual church and denomination and orthodoxy.

The partnership seeks to “broaden exponentially the base of mainstream commitment, integrate issues of social justice and environment, and urge behavioral change in the lives of congregants.” Religious leaders from churches across the country are brought into training seminars. Summit meetings for black and Orthodox Christians are organized. Environmental curriculum for Jewish seminaries are prepared. No stone has been left unturned in the Partnership’s drive to force its ideology into all aspects of Christian thought and action.

The NCC effort to enlist churches in the battle for the UN’s global warming treaty is just a first test to measure how strong the Partnership’s influence is in churches across the Country. And already, churches are responding by printing appeals in church bulletins urging congregations to write letters and make phone calls to their Senators in support of the Kyoto treaty.

Imagine the shock of politicians when they get such calls from their churches. At what point are they no longer able to ignore such pressure? Such is the goal of the National Council of Churches and the Religious Partnership for the Environment. Such is the goal of Maurice Strong and the United Nations.

The Kyoto global warming treaty will destroy America’s economy. It will help transform America into little more than a third-rate nation. If America should be so weakened, so will the once mighty “free world.”

The drive to meld their agenda into churches across the country is the most dangerous move yet made by the greens. This is a battle for the hearts and soul of Western Culture and Christianity. If we lose the churches, we have lost America. Lose the Churches to anti-Christian pagans and the world will truly be thrown into a new dark ages.

Has the Partnership come for your church yet? Rest assured, you are on the list. What action are you prepared to take to save your church, your religion, your nation and your way of life? Because like the dominoes of a child’s game, all will surely fall, one after another.

Earth Wars: The Gaia Menace

They want our kids!
By Henry Lamb
© 1999 WorldNetDaily.com
July 19, 1999
From: “Olliff, Derrick K”

WorldNetDaily Exclusive Commentary

Are your children being taught how to make “paper images of a Hindu god, make toothpick and yarn ‘worry dolls’ to ward off anxiety, and take part in Earth Day worship services?” They are if they attend the Bedford Central School District in White Plains, N.Y.

Are your children being taught how to howl like a wolf, as an expression of their “oneness” with nature? They are if they attend church in the Episcopal Diocese of Kansas, or the Episcopal Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York.

Are your children being taught that the three “R’s” are: Reduce, Recycle, and Reuse? They are if they attend most any public school in America.

Public education, and American churches are being overwhelmed by a deluge of environmental propaganda arising from a core belief in the gaia hypothesis. Popularized by James Lovelock, the gaia hypothesis contends that the earth is the giver of life; that all life forms have equal intrinsic value; and that human beings immorally abuse the rights of all other life forms.

The gaia hypothesis is the “sustainable” version of ancient pagan beliefs, articulated early in this century by Alice Bailey. Bailey said her wisdom came from an “ascended master,” Djwhal Khul, a Tibetan teacher who spoke to her while she was in a trance. Her publishing company was named “Lucifer Publishing,” but has now evolved into The Lucis Trust.

Were these the antics and beliefs of a handful of eco-freaks, it wouldn’t matter. But when these antics and beliefs find their way into our public schools and our mainstream churches, it does matter. When our kids are not only exposed to, but are also required to participate in these rituals, it is time for parents to stamp it out at its source. But what is the source?

Yes, it is the U.S. Department of Education. Yes, it is the National Education Association. Yes, it is the National Wildlife Federation, and The Nature Conservancy, the World Wide Fund for Nature, and thousands of other environmental organizations. But behind these, there is a common source. Robert Muller is the author of the “World Core Curriculum.” He is widely recognized as the “father of global education.” For 30 years, he was Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations. He is the Chancellor of the U.N. University. He is the founder of Robert Muller Schools. The preface of the Robert Muller School World Core Curriculum Manual, November, 1986, says, “The underlying philosophy upon which the Robert Muller School is based will be found in the teachings set forth in the books of Alice A. Bailey, by the Tibetan teacher, Djwhal Khul.”

Robert Muller told an audience in Costa Rica, “We hear now of the Gaia hypothesis, of the interdependence of all inert and living matter, that we are part and parcel of a living planetary organism.” Muller believes that “Each of us is a cell, a perceptive nervous unit of the Earth.” And that some of the cells have evolved to become the earth’s brain.

Muller says, “We have now a world brain: the United Nations and its agencies, and groups and networks around the world, are part of the brain. We are in the process of becoming a global civilization.”

Muller’s 30-year sidekick at the U.N., Maurice Strong, and Mikhail Gorbechev have drafted the Earth Charter, a document designed to translate the gaia hypothesis into 18 principles which underlie international environmental law. Every school kid has been, or soon will be, required to study the Earth Charter, as they have been required to study the International Declaration of Human Rights. Several American universities are now offering courses in the study of animal rights. They want our kids!

Who are they? Robert Muller, Maurice Strong, and Mikhail Gorbechev are a few of the growing number of international and national leaders who are convinced that the world must undergo a “wrenching transformation” in which society is reorganized around the central principle of protecting the environment, under the command and control of a central global authority. The transformation is well underway. It has been made possible because for more than a generation now, our kids have been fed a steady diet of gaia-garbage, disguised as sustainable-this, and sustainable-that.

It has long since stopped being about the environment; it is now about producing an army of red, white, and blue enviro-students, who are prepared to march out into the world under the command and control of a global authority to become obedient citizens of the new global civilization.

EDMONTON JOURNAL

Maurice Strong & Paul Martin, Part 2
Champagne socialist full of bubbles: Maurice Strong profits from pushing leftist ideas
Friday 18 July 2003

p. A18

“Economic growth is not the cure; it is the disease.”
That is Maurice Strong’s take on what is wrong with the world, today, and what is the greatest threat to the environment. Everything that is wrong can, in Strong’s mind, be traced to three sources — industrialization, wealth and free markets. I’d add a fourth — Christianity — except Strong never quite comes out and blames it for the world’s ills. He merely hints at it with statements such as “We are all gods now, gods in charge of our own destiny,” which he made in his autobiographical 2000 book Where on Earth are We Going?

Actually, Strong’s three sources of evil are really just one source — Western civilization. Although he has reaped enormous personal profits from the Western ways of business and life, Strong has been a lifelong biter of the hands that feed him so well. In 1990, he even mused about a possible revolution against “industrialized civilizations.”

What if it were concluded, Strong romanticized, “that the principal risk to the earth comes from the actions of the rich countries? ... Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring this about?”

Strong wasn’t exactly speaking for himself in this daydream. His nightmarish scenario involved a “small group of ... world leaders,” gathered together at a semi-private conference, who decide to overthrow the established political and financial orders “in order to save the planet.”

But he was not speaking for himself, either. Strong revels in telling fawning audiences that he is “a socialist in ideology,” but “a capitalist in methodology.” His socialist core would explain his attraction to revolutions against rich, industrialized civilizations.

And his membership on a dozen international business and environmental organizations would explain why he thinks such a revolution might spring from a small, semi-private gathering of world leaders.

Those are the circles Strong runs in. They are the people he knows. Undoubtedly, as he has sat through literally hundreds of such gatherings, he has occasionally marvelled at the amount of power represented by the leaders in the room, and speculated on what might convince those leaders to suspend democracy and diplomacy, and join him in the top-down coup of his dreams.

If the idea of a revolt against power, privilege and wealth, led by the most powerful, privileged and wealthy strikes you as a bit incongruous, then you need to understand two more things about Maurice Strong: He has made his fortune, reputation and influence out of peddling radical leftist ideas to the international jet set, to champagne socialists like himself, who very much enjoy what rank and riches have given them, but who despair the consumerism and capitalism they see in those beneath them.

The other piece you need to the Strong puzzle is his contempt for ordinary people and the institutions that give them control over these leaders. Strong thinks only superior mortals who run in his circles and share his philosophy are fit to decide how the world should be run.

Only once has Strong lowered himself to stand for public office — in the 1979 Canadian general election that saw Joe Clark’s Tories squeak into power. But he couldn’t even bear to see that through to election day.

According to an eye-popping indictment of Strong’s smug contempt for democratic accountability, in the book, Fight Kyoto, Calgary journalist and lawyer Ezra Levant points out that Strong withdrew as the Liberal candidate in a Scarborough riding one month before voting day because he found his “constituents’ priorities were parochial.”

Strong is a founder of the Council on Global Governance; the author of the Earth Charter (earthcharter.org), that he wants to be not only the supreme law of the planet — replacing national laws and constitutions — but a new “Ten Commandments,” as well.

Strong is or has been a board member with Earth Council, the World Wildlife Fund, the David Suzuki Foundation, the United Nations Environment Program and two of three of the UN’s big world environment gatherings — Stockholm in 1972 and Rio in 1992.

The 1997 Kyoto accords sprang directly out of Strong’s Rio conference in 1992, with Strong having a hand guiding the accords to fruition all the way, as a special adviser to the UN secretary general, periodically with the status of undersecretary general, himself.

Levant claims Strong has “never stopped pressing for a world where the UN’s resolutions would be enforced as the law in every corner of the Earth.” And Strong has made it clear he sees no harm in carbon taxes, air travel taxes and financial transaction taxes that raise billions or even trillions annually to fund a super world bureaucracy where he and others can influence world affairs without every grubbying themselves by seeking approval from — ugh — voters.

This is the man Paul Martin wants to make a senior economic and environmental adviser in his PMO. But that’s no surprise, either. Levant details how Strong hired Martin to be his personal assistant at Montreal’s Power Corporation, even before Martin had left university, and later helped Martin get his stake in Canada Steamship Lines, the company that is the source of Martin’s personal wealth, not to mention his pride and joy. Martin’s enthusiasm for Strong’s counsel goes way, way back.

GAIA

By Denise Caster

March 4, 2003

The Gaia hypothesis, like so many other things in our society, is the product of an unfortunate combination of an inadequate understanding of mathematics, a “mommy-didn’t-love-me-enough” insecurity complex, and the consumption of too many hallucinogenic drugs.(anonymous, 2000)

When an opponent declares “I will not come over to your side”, I calmly say “Your child belongs to us already. What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.” (Adolph Hitler; 1939).

Rep. Helen Chenoweth, R-Idaho, the darling of the militia/wise-use movements, has figured out that environmentalism is a religion and environmental laws are a form of state-sponsored religion.

She recently testified to Congress that “environmental policies are driven by a kind of emotional spiritualism that threatens the very foundation of our society. There is increasing evidence of a government-sponsored religion in America. This religion, a cloudy mixture of new-age mysticism, Native American folklore, and primitive Earth worship, is being promoted and enforced by the Clinton administration in violation of our rights and freedoms.”

Who wins the youth wins the future of America. (Earl Browder, former General Secretary of the Communist Party).

As a Christian, I had heard of this movement among the ‘new age teenagers and deviants’, little did I know, this movement has a great deal of backing and money, to become the ‘one-true’ religion of the United Nations, and eventually the world! I was unaware of politicians and ‘big money’ that have chosen the cause of ‘gaia’ to force down the throats of free thinking Americans and those of other nations. I was unaware of the ‘global assault’ on peoples of all nations, all beliefs, this belief that our ONE true GOD, was in fact female, and inside the earth.

Are you ‘unaware’ as well?

Lately, politicians here in the United States and abroad, have decided that the ‘gaia religion’ should be practiced throughout the world. But where did it come from? ‘Gaia’ can be found in Greek Mythology, before Zeus, as an explanation of the beginning of the world. According to mythology, gaia had sex with her son, and had her son kill his father in some kind of warped ‘father-son’ dispute over world control, human inhabitation, and eventual ‘patriarchal rulership. (Some followers now claim that Mary and Jesus must have had sex, since gaia and her son did, it is all such Blasphemy!)

The ‘new agers’ and ‘big money’ wannabee world rulers have decided that ‘gaia’ should become the ‘world religion’, teaching children that ‘gaia’ is the ‘true religion’ of the world, with the use of media outlets. These same people have taken the teenagers and young adults hostage, by forcing ‘green’ issues on them, as a way to ‘save our planet’ for future generations. The only generation they are having a problem with is US! Those that know the TRUTH!

Care to hear more Truths?

The United Nations has replaced the true ‘Ark of the Covenant’ with their own version, and it is not of the TRUE GOD. They have replaced the ‘TEN COMMANDMENTS’ with their own version called the ‘earth charter’.

“The real goal of the Earth Charter is that it will in fact become like the Ten Commandments.”

—Maurice Strong

“Do not do unto the environment of others what you do not want done to your own environment....My hope is that this charter will be a kind of Ten Commandments, a ‘Sermon on the Mount’, that provides a guide for human behavior toward the environment in the next century.”

—Mikhail Gorbachev, The Los Angeles Times, May 8, 1997

Maurice Strong is Canadian, a man that became known internationally, as a canadian national that ruled ‘their oil’ (Dome Petroleum), and then a part of their green party. His ‘favorite’ friend was David Rockefeller. Maurice Strong’s career turned at that point, and he began his control of Canadian power points.

Strong’s most significant role at the U.N. to-date has been his position as Secretary General of the 1992 U.N. Conference on the Environment and Development, the Rio Earth Summit. In the opening session of the Rio Earth Summit, Strong commented: “The concept of national sovereignty has been an immutable, indeed sacred, principle of international relations. It is a principle which will yield only slowly and reluctantly to the new imperatives of global environmental cooperation. It is simply not feasible for sovereignty to be exercised unilaterally by individual nation states, however powerful. The global community must be assured of environmental security.” Interestingly, Strong had initially been blocked from participating in the conference by the U.S. Department of State. When Strong learned of this, however, he persuaded then-President George Bush to overrule the State Department.

Strong is also involved in the U.N. Education Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Through his work in UNESCO, Strong promotes Gaia, the Earth God, among the world’s youth. Strong is also the director of The Temple of Understanding in New York. He uses The Temple to encourage Americans concerned about the environment to replace Christianity with the worship of “mother earth.”

Strong also directs the U.N.’s Business Council on Sustainable Development. Under his leadership, the council tries to affect peoples’ lives through U.N. policies that attempt to reduce the availability of meat products; limit the use of home and workplace air conditioners; discourage private ownership of motor vehicles; encroach on private property rights; and work to reduce the number of single family homes.

Maurice Strong is probably one of the most dangerous men of the world at this time. (but more on him later). You must also know who else supports gaia, and what this is teaching our children.

Do your children attend public school? In the United States, your children are learning all about ‘gaia’. Your children may not read the Bible at school, nor may they ‘pray’, but they will be forced to learn about ‘gaia’. Mother Earth, ‘depopulization’ of the the world, abortion, eugenics, and ‘dictorial genocide’ sanctioned by the U.N., are the newest dictates of the NEA and the education of ‘our’ children!

Would you like to know about ‘Captain Planet’ of the 80’s? Or one of the newest movies, directed toward 13 and above audiences, entitled ‘Final Fantasy’ (2001)? Fortunately, this movie, lost at the box office, and at later movie sales. The powers that be, do hope that this movie will recoup it’s losses as ‘gaia’ gains more power over the years.....

It is in OUR CONTROL whether this movie, and thus the movement, retain the control and power that they need to sustain the movement!
