Wow! I’m seriously thinking of moving to Arizona! Maybe sanity will finally reign somewhere.

If you're bringing kids, you'd need to look into private schools. Part of what drove sb1070 is that all the illegals are helping to bankrupt our state. School budgets are being slashed dramatically and it's a lesser quality school system than we hoped.

republican women have more guts than the men and I say that as a man.

Brewer, Palin, and Bachmann are without a doubt doing what we want and don’t give a crap about the NY times or being called a bad name like the rest of the GOP.

La Raza (the race) the race imagine that a racist commie group got these kind of teaching into the schools to whip hispanic kids into a hateful racist fenzy and now it has gone

the next president had better undo everything this idiot has done and then investigate how the media worked with the rats, SEIU, La Raza, move on, SOROS and his funneled money, etc.
Infact if Russia still want Soros then send him over there.

they are all in this together because they have the same goal

bring down America, course I don’t expect their supporters to actually understand that as they’re just too thick and dumb.

Wow, Obama is going to be upset about this one. Is it true he spoke at a La Raza event?

“Mari Del Carmen Aponte, a former director at the extremist Mexican group National Council of La Raza (see the press release applauding her nomination) and the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund, has been handpicked by Obama to be the U.S. Ambassador to El Salvador. That means Aponte, an attorney and independent consultant, will represent the State Department in the civil war-ravaged Central American country.”

“banning studies that... “promote resentment” of other racial groups.”
*************

Profound statement!

ME TOO!

I mean, I love Texas and won’t just uproot, but if I was transferred to one of my company’s offices or projects in Arizona, I would not be so opposed!

How long before McRINO airs the shameless campaign ad: “close the danged classes”?

They need to be strung up, bled out (financially) and severely punished.

This shit has got to stop.

If not for two factors, I’d move there too (if my wife would go, but she agrees with my two reasons not to...)

Those two factors:

1. We’d probably have to empty our savings to sell our house here in MD
2. Too far from family

And no guarantee we could find jobs either...esp. since I’d rather live around Prescott or Flagstaff than in the desert concrete jungles of Phoenix.

Will Jan Brewer be in history books someday as the woman who saved America?

Arizona is a logical place as a border state. It is good to hear and I wish other states would follow suit. All ethnic studies programs do is radicalize those students. That is the real intent behind them.

I’m doing battle with the PC crap at the local middle school on a variety of issues, but 2 incidents relate to this issue.

Last year around the inauguration the school had a wall display saying “Celebrate Diversity” and photos of people from every facet of life, none of whom were white or Asian. Two of the people my kids were told to “celebrate” were Malcolm X and Fidel Castro.

I spoke with my son about the need to judge people by the things that they control, the choices they make, rather than by things they can’t control, like their race, abilities, etc. And because the things they can’t control are determined by God, we can be thankful for the things that make each person unique, because we all have something to contribute. Celebrating diversity in the things that are morally neutral basically means valuing every human life for its potential, since we’re all unique.

My son tried to say in class that celebrating diversity isn’t really so much about race, but about valuing everyone for what they can contribute uniquely. The teacher stopped him and said, “No, it’s actually about race but we don’t have time to discuss it.”

This year my same son had a Spanish assignment to research a Latino person who has been successful in one or another area of life. He was stuck with the political area. He was given a list of names to choose from - all of them democrat and when he looked for basic information he was unable to find any person on the list who was not guilty of at least one crime. Finally he just chose somebody randomly - somebody convicted of multiple crimes.

He asked me what he should do, since he was supposed to make a poster in praise of this person’s many accomplishments. I told him what I always tell him: Tell the truth. So he did. The teacher responded by saying, “Sounds like this guy was very successful at being a crook.”

She had no idea that the group she got the lesson plans from was a front group for the communists putting out free lesson plans on the web. She just knew it was free and she had no idea that there are leftist groups who do this.

There are probably some Latino politicians that could be genuinely celebrated. Marco Rubio comes to mind. But this group chose to make lesson plans requiring kids to praise people who are actively involved in crime and in subverting the rule of law in America. And the teacher was clueless that this was the objective of the people who wrote the lesson plans.

The communists have said that they will infiltrate the schools and they have been very successful in doing so.

I love Texas, but I'm really beginning to consider a "fling" with Arizona!

I just moved here in September, and I love it! It's turning out to be the smartest move I ever made. But I'm afraid all of this is going to earn Arizona treatment by the Federal Government similar to what Colorado got in "Atlas Shrugged". The Big Government Socialists in DC aren't going to let some upstart Western state erode any of their hard-won victories without a big fight.
