A bucket of bias: op/col by Rodrigo Santillan Peralbo, titled: Criminals
The ideologues of the empire dreamed that the Anglo Saxons who colonized North America were the superior race, to whom God had bestowed the manifest destiny so they would govern the inferior races. They killed the Indians in a cruel genocide, took away half of Mexicos territory by force, Arizona included, which just now has passed a criminal law that criminalizes (sic) undocumented migrants. The empire intervened militarily in all the countries south of the Rio Bravo (read: Rio Grande River.]
They created a model of democracy and in its name they have committed crimes against humanity by wars and by imposing dictatorships. In the Virginia Declaration, those calling for independence held that all men are born free and equal, except the black slaves, the Indians and women, the Hispanics and the Asians. The United States was formed by immigrants, and became an economic, military and political power thanks to their labor and the theft of brains. When World War II ended, unleashed by Hitler, another one who believed that the Aryan race was superior, it stole or kidnapped tens of German scientists and it became an atomic power.
The United States abhors migrants, and the xenophobia has converted them into criminals. No one is accountable for the deaths of tens of undocumented persons in its jails and hundreds of murdered ones in the deserts of Arizona or Texas. The Arizona Law is pitiless and cruel regarding the illegals. It empowers police to detain any person merely due to their appearance. The color of the skin converts persons into criminals. Gigantic absurdity, worthy of the ideological descendants of Nazi-fascism defeated 65 years ago.
How long are the peoples of the world going to tolerate the inhumane imperial decisions?

Illegal aliens at the Panama/Colombia border
Colombia & Panama have reached an accord which aims to reduce the levels of crime between the two countries; the illegal flow of people is one of the principal reasons for the accord. Recent reports show that, in 2009, 66 Somalis, 10 Eritreans, 17 Nepalese and 7 Ethiopians were detected while crossing those nations borders illegally, en route to the United States.

Chihuahua, the most violent state
A study reported by Mexican federal congressmen reveals that Chihuahua is the most violent state in Mexico, and one out of every three homicides takes place there. But the rest of the country does not fare much better, since the states of Baja California and Sinaloa follow closely behind. But these analyses forget data such as the fact that the Distrito Federal and its surrounding State of Mexico are the places with the highest incidences of armed and forcible auto thefts, actions largely linked to organized crime.

A Powerful hit on the Sinaloa and La Familia

The contraband had been seized by various police agencies and the Mexican Army over the last few months. The contraband was valued at over 264 million pesos and prevented La Familia and the Sinaloa Cartel from using the Baja California corridor as a route into the United States. The destruction was witnessed by both civilian and military authorities. There remains 60 tons of marijuana slated for destruction valued at more than 300 million pesos.

The U.S. will combat drug use
Mexico, D.F. The continuing war on drugs, which has lasted almost four decades, has not had positive results for the majority of those people in the United States. The Obama Administrations Anti-drug Czar-Gil Kerliskowske, announced a change in the anti-drug strategy which is to break the chain of drug use by decreasing drug dependency and to fund simultaneously the international anti-drug efforts of countries such as Mexico to destroy the drug cartels. This will end the high risk to health and security in the entire nation. Since President Nixon declared the War on Drugs, the clear truth is that the people of the United States do not believe it has been a great success.
The new National Strategy to Control Drugs is principally to reduce the consumption of drugs and to treat and prevent drug use. The focus is to achieve equal goals on prevention, treatment, and enforcement of the law. It seeks to reach 15% reduction in drug use, principally among the young, to be achieved in 5 years. To reach this goal, Washington launched a massive publicity campaign.

Mexico asks the rest of the world to control small arms traffic
Geneva, Switzerland Today Mexico exhorted all the countries of the world to include in their policies specific strategies to combat the illicit traffic in small arms and munitions primarily to eradicate gun violence.
The Director General of Exterior Relations, Ambassador Pablo Macedo, invited the United States to include in its policies specific actions to combat the illicit traffic in small arms. This Wednesday, more than 60 nations, including Mexico, adopted the Oslo Compromise against gun violence.
The Conference on action against armed violence initiated in Geneva, Switzerland, was hindered by reduced air traffic due to volcanic ash. Mexico applauds the agreement as an important tool against armed violence which foments a culture of peace.
The Secretary of State of Norway, Jonas Gahr, noted that every day there are more than 2,000 victims of gun violence from major and minor criminals. The Agreement adopted Wednesday was applauded by United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

Calderón to ask the U.S. Congress to nullify the law
Mexico, D.F. The Permanent Congressional Committee (of the Mexican Congress) exhorted Mexican President Felipe Calderón, on his next visit to Washington and during his message before the U.S. Congress, to categorically state that the Mexican people and the Government of Mexico totally reject Arizonas SB-1070.
Various Mexican politicians of both houses of the Mexican Congress strongly oppose SB-1070 and propose that President Calderón demand the U.S. Congress to nullify Arizonas SB-1070.
The Permanent Congressional Committee of the Mexican Congress asks all federal legislators, (Senators, Deputies, and other elected officials all over the nation) to denounce SB-1070 in all communications, letters, notes, faxes, phone calls and speeches. They all need to be in total agreement about this law and reject it.

“The US laws (that Arizona is now enforcing) are pretty much the same as MEXICO IMMIGRATION LAWS”
If only! Mexico’s laws are much harsher than any of ours.
There are a couple good articles posted lately about that.
You’re right, but did you know RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE was a commie band? Not only commie but a truly infantile and hateful one. Talented bunch of spiteful boys that are probably no where near Cuba cutting sugarcane, but rather holed in some plaza suit in LA cutting sugar for their noses. Anyway, the article is commie crap that wants to perpetuate class warfare against the US.
Big rumors of a big Cartel battle in Reynosa this weekend, right over the river from McAllen TX
No, I did not know it was a band.
The dude needs to read some history texts. Scientists working on the Manhattan project were Americans, not Germans. The German scientists he’s thinking about were the rocket scientists like Willie Ley and Werner Von Braun who wanted to come to the US after the war. And their inventions were based on research done earlier in the century by Robert Goddard, a US citizen.
Here’s a bunch of photos (quite a spread!) of the bust of the zetas.
