Anymore religion, race, gender, sexual orientation, political party, etc. is put before the best interests of the country.
We're no longer a melting pot, but a stew. :o(

My only point was that she deserves the benefit of the doubt for following traditionA valid point but I think Laura should have just kept her mouth shut.
I had no idea she was a closet liberal. It does indeed help explain a lot.
BTW, "Chewy and the Kenyan" sounds like a good sitcom title. :)

She evidently doesn't care that Ms. Kagan is a socialist.
I knew she was liberal, but never knew she was this far gone.
I always felt like Bush started listening to her more in the second term.
We are hurting out here under Obama’s socialist agenda and all she cares about is that this nominee is a woman.

The litmus test is abortion. Barbara was pro and so is Laura. When someone’s in favor of a law that allows someone to abort one twin thinking it's a downs baby and then the other twin once it's discovered the wrong baby was aborted, that person has a serious moral blindspot. Laura was a mirage. Finding a lot of those now.

Laura Bush is utterly clueless...she’s not embarking on a very wise book selling tour. She’s managed to alienate the very people who were previously most likely to buy it.

She has nothing to say or write worth my time. Laura who?

A valid point but I think Laura should have just kept her mouth shut. Agreed.

I never want to hear from that family again.

I really wish she hadn’t said that. The most she should have said was that she hadn’t studied Kagan’s history yet and thus couldn’t comment.
She just threw all her potential conservative book buyers under the bus. Perhaps the RINO party leadership encouraged her to say what she said. I don’t know. But I do know that I’m not inclined to listen to her any more.

And to think , those last 4 Bush years I was actually feeling sorry for Mrs. Bush....I'd voted for her husband twice and felt I'd really been led down the garden path after the second term....and I thought she surely must be concerned about him...his whole personna was different than those first 4 years. And of course I was thoroughly fed up with the MSM.
My only conclusion now is that those TWO happily opened the way, were quite aware of just what laid down the road for our people, our nation....and they were very content to stand by and see what was headed our way....shame on them both.
We know that both Bush Presidents were all for the "one world order." Now what's being done to our country by the bunch of thugs running this Administration....you can bet your best that they are thrilled ....after all, I think those two men have always had way too many cozy ties to the Arabs...big oil, you know.....Oh, and don't forget the stubborness in NOT closing the border down South. I didn't want to believe that about the man I voted for twice...now I figure it was/is all one big political game.and both parties are in it up to their eye teeth.....too bad our nation hasn't been able to find the will or the way to bring the people involved in the illegal stuff that goes on daily to justice...Trashing the Constitution, our Bill of Rights, you name it, these people have ridden rough shod over it. I don't trust any of the politicians any farther than I could throw them.

Only 2 weeks ago I was attacked by some Bush-cultist at this site for labeling her precious Laura as a liberal. I wonder if she still wants to defend her latest pronouncements. Some people are either just liars or impossible to educate.
