The chapter is titled "Motown Madness" and recounts the negotiations between Reagan and Gerald Ford which broke down.

Very strange since Reagan nearly beat Ford in the previous Primary election. I had no clue that this could be possible. Not sure I can take it as absolute proof, but interesting never the less.

Well, most everything RC posts on FR is crazy or vitriolic so her post didn’t shock me at all. This entire dustup over Fironia mostly created by a lot of people who don’t even live in California is downright crazy.. I was at dinner tonight with friends who ARE California voters and THEY want to see a debate, which, evidentally, some of the participants — like Campbell — keep ducking.

This is true. Campbell is skating to victory, so no desire to debate. The last debate wasn’t televised live, but was shown on TV Mother’s Day morning! Certain a whole lot of CA voters were watching on Mother’s Day morning... /s.

Same as he refused to appear on that Hannity show with DeVore and Carly.. Personally, he is a coward and I would never vote for a coward.

Right. He has his Northern CA voters all lined-up.

So you are saying that Carly should not be held accountable for activity that may have violated the law under her watch just because it started two years before she was the head of the COmpany?

That's a higher priority for an incoming CEO than say, cutting costs and gaining greater share of the marketplace?

So not matter what Steele does and no matter how racist he is and nt matter how unfit for the job - she should be vocally outspoken telling people to lay off him because she wants to run, eh?

That's not her job to criticize Steele. That's the job of conservatives who have done so. Republican candidates and elected Republicans simply don't criticize the party chair. It's one of those unwritten rules.

You seem to be saying that Alaska's new ethics law isn't really ethical.

Unfortunately like most laws, it had a loophole that was exploited by the haters. Palin signed it into law - I don't think she had the foresight that she was going to be driven out of office by the very law she signed.

And probably because he cannot raise enough money, Devore is honest and the best candidate.

Rand Paul and Marco Rubio raised money. They're not in the pockets of corporations or special interests. They're just as conservative as DeVore.

So why can't DeVore raise money?

Maybe you should just go back and read when McCain officially announced he wasn’t supporting Crist.

And then just tie Palin’s announcement with that.

Otherwise, I would say do your homework before making silly statements about others.

I have more than you and I have known the politics of Palin a lot longer than you.

Ok????

You still provided no evidence, just more suppositions on your part.

More like a conspiracy theory on your part.

No, do your homework...

When did McCain come out publicly and state he did not endorse Crist?

I want you to state it.

I know when it was done and I know when Crist was set on leaving.

Your the one positing the conspiracy theory without any proof.

Just because you think there is timing involved just makes it your theory.

You probabably should pay attention to the SC Governors race, because if your theory is true, then Sarah would have endorsed S.C. Attorney General Henry McMaster who is currently McCain's choice.

Sarah has endorsed Nikki Haley in the S.C. Governors Race, McCain has endorsed S.C. Attorney General Henry McMaster.

No, because this is a “throw-away” race and it is has nothing to do with the Rubio race and the dynamics that were involved between Palin and McCain.

Thompson,Palin and McCain endorsed who in the Gov’s race?

Campbell is utterly dreadful but I don’t see Fiorina as much better. She has never done one boldly conservative thing in her life, as far as I know. She was certainly glad to accept kudos as the courageous feminist heroine running HP (into the ground).

Fiorina could be, like dah Terminator, a liberal in sheep’s clothing.

I’d rather that Palin go with DeVore on principle. He will probably lose, but her support would elevate his name and give him a higher profile for whatever race he chooses next. Or she could simply keep her good name out of this primary.

“From allegedly FR is “Palin Country” we’re down to “Nitpick, Bash, Trash, and Tear Down Sarah Palin,” and call her defenders “Sarah Worshippers” -”Cult of Personality” and other such juvenile terms.”

Just remember that the anti Palin trolls are mostly irrelevant’s (see tag line) that troll loudly but have no chance at winning in the end.

lmao.

They’re just howling at the moon. When it’s all over it will be either Romney or Palin. An easy choice for a real conservative.
