The republican party is unlikely to see any money from me EVER!

I'd rather just light the bills on fire than give them to spineless, defeatist, liberal vermin.

If there is no filibuster, the "Republicans" are not retreating.

As true rinos, they are simply staying the course...left of center....with their "brothers", the dems.

No change here at all.

RINOs??

What Senate conservative has come out against her...threatened her or educated the public on her stances?

"The filibuster should be relegated to the extreme circumstances, and I don't think Elena Kagan represents that," said Arizona Sen. Jon Kyl, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Jon, could you at least give us the courtesy of a reach around?

And we need to teach people that elections have consequences, I didn’t vote for John McCain, I voted for Sarah Palin, also a big reason voting for that ticket for me was THE SUPREME COURT! I don’t want a liberal leaning Court. No idea why Republicans never bring that up at all during their elections.

They should be on the attack. We're talking about a far left liberal, a 'fellow traveler', that will be on the bench to rubber stamp the leftist mantra for 30+ years! That's Big folks. Where is the fight in them?

Maybe it’s just me, however, I’d prefer an actual JUDGE to be a Supreme? Ya know? Not some ignorant fool from Hahvard Yahd.

Republican Senatwhores should just all vote NO! But they’ll all be slobbering all over themselves...puke.

Hey folks, the Republicans don’t have the votes. You can thank George W. Bush for that.

If one knew some startling fact that would come out and lead to a GOP filibuster, what one would say at this stage of the game is we have no intent to filibuster her nomination. Then when the information came out in questioning, you organize a filibuster after due consideration of the nominee.

I am not saying the current Senate GOP members are being this strategic, but if you want to seem fair to the public,ie the squishy moderates, you don’t announce a filibuster until the public starts seeing the radical views of the nominee.

“Being on record for curtailing free speech is not extreme circumstances?”

Exactly! Anyone that believes the First Amendment is wrong should get no where near a SCOTUS seat.

The other day when I watched Orrin hatch say what a great choice she wasm, I knew the RINO’s had thrown in the towel before the fight even started.

I’d as soon have a Democrat in the seat as a RINO.

If Arizona’s got 2 plants in the Senate, what hope is there for any state?

They’ve been playing us for chumps for 50 years.

Reject the nominee and make Zer0 reach across the aisle and a appoint a 40 yr Bork.

Not wanting to pee in your cornflakes, but by what means can the Senate Republicans make Obama do anything, least appoint an lightning rod like a Bork to a Senate hearing.

In a way Obama is being reaching across the aisle in a non-partisan way with this nominee, at least in his mind, she is a moderate.

I'm sure he would get an out right Marxist judge confirmed, he would.

Failure to be in the forefront is fighting this nomination is grounds to remove them in November. Not a cent to the RNC until we see a willingness to fight every single issue.

We may be "one vote" away from all of that stuff....... but their are more privately owned small arms in America than miitary owned small arms of the worlds 21 largest militaries.

14 billion privately purchased rounds of ammunition from just 2009..... says go ahead and try to enforce it. The streets will flow in rivers of blood.

Someone who believes government has a duty to censor political speech isn’t going to face a fight at all??

Am I still suppose to vote for the GOP if they don’t stand up for free speech?
