Does this mean you want to nominate her for the Supreme Court?

“Looks like Arizona needs 2 new Senators.” Coming from a CA where they have two (2) Democratic U S Senators that’s saying something s/
We need two new Senators here in CA, too, and we're getting one of them this November.
What say you, Arizona?

There is a civil war. Its currently "civil", but it is a war nonetheless. Its conservatives versus the statists. If a battle is given up, it yields time (a precious commodity to them) for them to mount another battle. There is crap-n-tax, immigration not-reform, and others, that must be opposed. Here is a golden opportunity to limit the statists time with these other efforts: prolong and fight Kagen, win or lose... for more battles are to be waged.

It is fascinating to me that an anonymous message board poster (no offense to you!), understands this fact and can articulate it clearly and concisely. And yet, are we really to believe that people like Kyle do not understand it?

It's a stretch. I think these Republican b*stards get it it quite well.

I think old Carrol Quigley's blueprint is reality:

"The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one perhaps of the Right, and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can 'throw the rascals out' at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.... Either party in office becomes in time corrupt, tired, unenterprising, and vigorless. Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party, which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same policies."

The Democrats play hardball while the Repubs play T-ball.

Not only should they filibuster her, but they should uncover all that there is to know about the commie bimbo. She has NO business on the Supreme Court. NONE!

And the stupid party wonders why I quit donating to their worthlessness. Bunch of "get-along", panty-waist liberal-lite, brain dead morons. And that's their better qualities.

It is too late, the other side has won it for good.

You've surrendered. Change your name to yield 2 the left.

Do it now, before the storm troopers knock at your door. Maybe you'll be spared.

Kyl is another in a long, long list of Republican disasters. AZ has a lot of explaining to do in its poor choice of officeholders. And I believe their immigration law will be struck down by the federal courts.

“I believe he is up for re-election in 2012. Time to start planning on taking out the trash.”

A clear message needs to be sent to Kyl and his ilk. If you don’t block Kagan, you won’t get reelected. It is time to shut down Mr. Obama’s present and future SCOTUS picks.

Unless he at least picks a true moderate instead of a leftest idealoge, then don’t confirm his nominees....block them at all costs. Obviously we won’t get a conservative appointment by him, but we can keep him from chosing the left end of the political spectrum.

It’s interesting that Obama’s choices for the Supreme Court have thin paper trails.

Just like the Prez.

How do people like this stay in high office and out of jail? If I were to try rolling like politicians do, I'd end up bunking with "Tiny" and "Guido" down at the crowbar motel.

The net of law is spread so wide,
No sinner from its sweep may hide.
Its meshes are so fine and strong
They take in every child of wrong.
O wondrous web of mystery !
Big fish alone escape from thee !

I used to respect Sen. Jon Kyl and I have voted for him, in the past.

Then explain why he went from having ACU scores in the 90's 12 years ago, to sounding like Bob "Wet Noodle" Michel and Bob "Let's Make a Deal" Dole? Or Denny "I'm Not Really Here" Hastert?

This is a complete, totally craven caucuswide El Foldo of the very first water. A Communist lesbian on the Supreme Court? Because a guy who, to display his street-cool contempt for white people won't show us his bona fides documents and only pretends to be President, wants her?

IS JOHN KYL OUT OF HIS MIND?

It's the job of any Constitution-loving Senator to filibuster anybody who thinks the First Amendment doesn't mean what it says and Second as well.
The First Amendment and the Second Amendment are amendments passed by the founders. The founders held that they were unnecessary because the Constitution did not give the government the power to violate them.
The Constitution is supposed to be understood to include all the rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights - and more. So it is a disgrace to even have to refer to the Bill of Rights.

Fools:

Here are a few selected FReeper comments to date:

Chief Justice Roberts:

Kagan Asked Court to ‘Embrace Theory of First Amendment That Would Allow Censorship Not Only of Radio and Television Broadcasts, But Pamphlets and Posters’

In another article, titled “Regulation of Hate Speech and Pornography After R.A.V,” she writes, “I take it as a given that we live in a society marred by racial and gender inequality, that certain forms of speech perpetuate and promote this inequality, and that the un-coerced disappearance of such speech would be cause for great elation.”
Solicitor General Elena Kagan, President Barack Obama’s nominee to replace retiring Justice John Paul Stevens on the Supreme Court, helped craft President Bill Clinton’s political strategy for sustaining his veto of the partial-birth abortion ban in 1997. As a result of Clinton’s successful veto that year, the ban was not enacted until 2003, when it was signed by President George Bush.
I can settle the question for everyone on the site.(Harvard Connections, you know.) Kagan is gayer than Christmas in Port-au-Prince.

She’s in the back of the closet, just like Barney Frank was until he was outed and heroically made a virtue out of being a god-curséd sodomite SOB, as well as a crook.

Now, about her hard-core, real-orders-from-the-Kremlin-belong-to-a-cell, commie family. Dad was a big time commie union infiltrator.

Mommie was a commie.

Bro still is a big-time commie.

These Kagans are NYC commies from the 1930’s, 1940’s, type of people. Elena? Red Diaper baby type. Can sing the “Internationale,” but not the SSB.

Pull the old Kagan FBI Files.

Look’em up in the VENONA files. I hope every Republican Senator does.

You don’t have to have very many brain cells to know that Elena Kagan is a Pluto-bound abortion-loving socialist. The thought of that grinning overfed New York dyke on our Supreme Court for the next 30-40 years makes me weep for my country.

Her heroes: Abner Mikva, Thurgood Marshall, Cass Sunstein (who believes the Constitution requires taxpayers to fund abortion and has proposed abolishing marriage - the pure Communist line since 1917) and Aharon Barak Israeli Supreme Court justice Aharon Barak (who has been called Israel’s “Big Brother”)
