Why do we need investors? Just have the “artists” apply for a national endowment of the arts grant. Just have them say they are going to celebrate diversity within Muslim society—I'm sure that will catch all kinds of grants. Then proceed to decorate at will. Key is to use real pig blood in the art. Yes. The project is named Cordoba something, and Cordoba is apparently the Spanish word for Muslim conquering Spain in the past (i.e. The Moors; Martyrs of Cordoba (ROP at its finest) )

Berkeley, California (not the college, the ciy) had a similar art program years ago when we lived near there, only they used cows. It was neat to see the statues all over and after a certain time passed the statues were auctioned off, IIRC.

I agree with your sentiment. This is more of a ‘rub it in your face’ thing, than a ‘our religion is better than what happened on 9/11’ thing. Just the name CORDOBA INITIATIVE refers to a time a thousand years ago when Spain was conquered by the Moors and many people either converted or were beheaded or killed in horrible ways.
