Blumenthal should have the courage to resign his office for lieing his Butt off for the last 30 years.
I just hope the voters in Connecticut hold him accountable for his actions and throw his butt out of office come November by voting against him in the race for the Senate.
We are getting rid of One Liar all ready,Chris Dodd.We Damn sure don’t need to replace him with Blumenthal.

He just had a geography issue. he still was a Marine. Typical jarhead just did not know where.
The only good marine, is a submarine!
Sorry but I am an old pigboat sailor and need to give my fellow military a little jib.

The Stolen Valor Act of 2005 (the Act), signed into law by former President George W. Bush on Dec. 20, 2006,[1] is a U.S. law that broadens the provisions of previous U.S. law addressing the unauthorized wear, manufacture, sale or claim (either written or oral) of any military decorations and medals. It is a federal misdemeanor offense, which carries a punishment of imprisonment for no more than 1 year and/or a fine; the scope previously covered only the Medal of Honor. As much as I'd like to see this SOB nailed, I think they excluded simply lying for John Kerry and Tom Harkin. I think it only covers lying about medals.
Anyone know if he did? I think lying about being in combat missions would infer that you have commendations that you would not. Maybe they can nail his sorry ass anyway.

If he said he “served” in Viet Nam then he’s saying he earned a medal and a ribbon.
But, with that said, no democrat politician gets prosecuted anymore unless he’s not only caught taking bribes but he also must admit it. If he’s only caught (murtha) he gets a pass. Or if he goes against the party (trafficant).
Republicans is a different story.
Bottom line is most of these people would have been shot if they’d served under Washington. Hell, maybe even under Truman.
I wonder what McCain thinks of this guy. Never mind.

The sub I was on, every time we came into port was guarded by Marines behind a gate and the Marines were always proud to tell us, “they never lost a gate.”

To quote a Maryland Conservative who met Jimmy in a swimming pool in West Virginia, “Damn Martha, this guy is from Connecticut and he is a Conservative!”

Has anyone seen a Photo of Blumenthal in uniform? Just wondering if he is sporting a Vietnam Service or Campaign Ribbon.
To: kristinn
Oh, “he was just misunderstood”. He was told his plane was going to Vietnam and it landed in Japan. He thought he was in Vietnam and was astonished that he didn’t see any guns. /s

Stolen Valor Act?
Can we go after John F. Kerry with this too? IMO Kerry has stolen more valor than this idiot Blumenthal.
