There is, I saw it yesterday on FOX, but you won't see it anywhere else.
Any idea when can we expect any new polling data?
Kristinn made a great summation in this thread: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2516382/posts
Basically: Blumenthal lied abut his service and acted like he apologized that we misunderstood him in that video and how he let newspapers make misprints that he did nothing to correct over 5 years.
Then, he has his sycophant friends line the stage and one of them is a genuine combat vet who LIED himself about his record to sell his books on PTSD. His name is William Trumphower and goes by the pen name Elliot Storm and is a part of a veterans group that follows Blumenthal. http://www.pownetwork.org/phonies/phonies293.htm

NOW, the NATIONAL VFW is in an uproar over Blumy using a VFW, an organization that Blumy is unqualified to join, as his venue to apologize http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0510/37455.html#ixzz0oLITlYhV
AND, the Marine Corps League is going to have a say over members wearing their MCL Jackets, specifically Peter Galgano from the New Britain Hardware City Detachment, the one I once belonged to http://www.mcleague.org/mdp/userpages/HARDWARE_CITY-34.php
Where did he get the service records to show the VFW that he was indeed in Vietnam ???
It's a requirement for membership.
A Senator that has to retire in disgrace; the heir apparent who lies about his military service and compromises the local VFW in his perfidy; and his heir apparent is unqualified for the job she covets, and all refuse to apologize and slouch off the public stage. Hubris, thy name is ............!
Oh-oh.....Blumy’s being “Swift-Playgrounded”......
What a dishonorable piece of ****, building a political career on the backs and corpses of American patriots who fought for this country.
This article might as well have been written by a Blumenthal staffer, but at least it puts the topic in front of a few more people.
Nice work, by the way.
It should be up on YouTube then. It needs some exposure.

Our fabulous local conservative radio talk show host - Jim Vicevich - has been talking about fellow poser "Elliot Storm" as well. It's going viral... ;-)
With American patriots dying in combat every day, lying politicians, like this one, must be outed and their political careers TOAST.
Brave Americans are fighting our foreign enemies overseas, it is up to us to fight the enemies within.
I “freeped” the press conference yesteray. (is it a freep if it’s just 1 person?) I did get some coverage...including a little clip on local FOX 61. I watched the press conf then headed to the car to grab my sign and stood there, all alone, so anyone leaving would HAVE to see me! it was fun!! too bad it was such short notice. the Globe mentioned me as well. sign said
“ DEFERMENTS: 5, INTEGRITY: 0 “ (like a scoreboard)
Race, have you read Stolen Valor by BG Burkett? A very good book. I read it about 10 years ago. Blumie should of read it instead of drawing up a 1,000 different law suits to chase all business out of CT.
I think you will find that true of honorable veterans, of which most are IMO.Any few friends/co-workers that have mentioned they did a hitch
in the USA military during the 1960s-1970s always IMMEDIATELY say
1. I served but didnt get sent to Vietnam
OR
2. I went to Vietnam, but served in the rear doing supply/administrative work
OR
3. I served but would rather not talk about it, please (tip that they
likely got out into the [****] combat).
I have a good friend (you know him Race and nutmeg) that served on a destroyer during the Viet Nam era.
Although his ship was deployed to the waters offshore of Viet Nam, he is very clear to anyone he is discussing it with to make the point that he did not serve in Viet Nam and has the greatest respect and admiration for those that did.
Great job, RaceBannon!
Thanks for the ping nutmeg!
Hmm, does that mutual friend run a website??
I still have to get that book!
You bet it is. Some of the most effective freeps are done by just one person.
Take this one for example:
This is a poorly (sloppy) written article, so I fixed it to make it more readable and corrected some spin about Mr. Bancroft's service and defense of Blumenthal in the pastLone Protestor Calls For Prosecution
by Christine Stuart | May 18, 2010 11:30am
A lone protester paced the state Capitol parking lot Tuesday holding a U.S. Marine Corps flag and sign that read, Prosecute Blumenthal Stolen Valor Act.
The protester, Jim Bancroft of Windsor Locks,
says he serveddid serve!inas a U.S. Marine from 1977 to 1981 andclaims that hehas defended Attorney General Richard Blumenthal in the past against accusations regarding his military service because during conversations the two had Blumenthal had always said he served state-side as a reservist. While the two had nothing in common politically, I thought he was a decent guy until he watched the video, Bancroft said.
Don't ping him, he's very modest.
