Good thing AFAIC - I was an active volunteer for the Adcock campaign - Adcock, with his business background, will run on fighting spending and concentrating on getting government out of the way so businesses can go back to creating jobs - and he has very deep roots in the district. This race was unusual for the 13th because all three GOP candidates were conservatives. Schwartz is considered a safe seat, but IMO is possibly vulnerable because her record is far more liberal than she lets on.

The campaign was pretty clean, just a couple of minor low blows, so I think the GOP in the district can be pulled together for solidarity in November. Having the GOP unified won't guaranteed a victory - Adcock will have to pull in independents and a few Dems to win - but having in in disarrary would guarantee a loss.

The key to this election (and, IMO, almost every other this fall) is this simple equation: {any Democrat} = Pelosi. Keep hammering that point.
