There is a remote, although gaining, possibility America's military will intervene as a last resort to resolve the "Obama problem." Don't dismiss it as unrealistic.

America isn't the Third World. If a military coup does occur here it will be civilized. That it has never happened doesn't mean it wont. Describing what may be afoot is not to advocate it. So, view the following through military eyes:

Bad idea. No national institution is more respected than the American military. Currently the Left attacks our military at its peril (remember the reaction to “General Betray US”?. A coup would politicize the military in the eyes of the Left and allow them, if they ever won another election, to attack it at will, to the detriment of our national security.

Better to go through the democratic (small “d”) process and watch these Marxists be repudiated by the people who originally elected them.

AT this point, this would be an absolutely disasterous idea. We are supposed to be the advocates of the Constitution and Rule of Law, not expediency.

Nothing, not even Obama, could do more to harm both the rule of law and the Constitution. If demographic and educational trends persist, the Republic may well be doomed, and whatever form of tyranny follows will be the legacy that the Boomers bequeath their posterity.

Don’t count on it. Beleive it or not, there are plenty of people in the military both uniformed and civilian, who really like Obama and many more who are fairly apolitical but to whom the idea of overthrowing a sitting President would never fly.

The military has gone PC. The military will not be for saving the constitution if it acts, it will be for propping up an illegal regime.

The military has no play in a situation like this. You’d have to have a thousand officers that thought exactly alike and acted in unison.

It is far more likely that a military coup, even if it began as a genuine effort to “restore the Constitution,” or “solve the Obama problem,” would be hijacked and transformed into an effort to subjugate the entire country under a militarized police state to an even greater extent than it is now.

The more probable scenario is the one that was outlined by Tommy Franks in a 2003 interview with the men’s lifestyle magazine Cigar Aficionado, where a military form of government would be implemented in the aftermath of a huge terror attack that kills millions.

Franks predicted that another mass casualty terror attack would occur that would cause the “population to question our own Constitution and to begin to militarize our country in order to avoid a repeat of another mass, casualty-producing event. Which in fact, then begins to unravel the fabric of our Constitution.”

Yes maybe but this socialists and communists have been democratically elected! And this is exactly the fact why something like a military coup will never happen in a country like america. Most People (regardless who they vote for or if they are in the military or not) believe in democracy! This is the BIG difference between a democratic country and some african hell hole.
They may have elections too (and even if not faked) they go and burn down their country if they don´t like the result.
“We” on the other hand may not like the result too but we don´t kill each other because of that or hope for a military coup because hey thats life and the next election will come so you can the try again to change this country.
