But when you think about it, the cost of much of what is produced/provided in America, has gone through the roof in the last few decades.
These include:
Healthcare.
Insurance.
Education.
Real Estate.
So while the banksters and others rake in the profits from all the free money, the average joe fears he’ll be forced to trade in his middleclass job for a lifetime of flpping hamburgers, and suffers from the high cost of domestic goods and services . .
Because all the inflation from decades of low interest rates, have migrated to domestic goods, services, and assets.
Only they don’t call those things inflation. So they get away with this rip-off of hard working Americans.

Another dirty little secret- you will find women’s high heels, nice purses, etc. out in the desert. I asked a Border Patrolman once- I was so curious why someone would dress up to hike across the desert. He told me coyotes lie to the women (and men) and tell them they only have to walk across the border and will be picked up by vehicle on the other side- just a short walk. The truth is even those that have vehicles to meet the illegals- it can be many miles to the vehicle and the drivers coyotes use are not dependable- if they don’t show up they just have to keep hiking across the desert. Many of the smugglers don’t even have vehicle pickups planned to begin with.
There are many lies told to the illegals by the smugglers- once an illegal woman with a baby were found out in a rainstorm near where I live. The coyote left her and the baby behind because they were slowing the rest of them down (duh) anyway he told her when he left her that she was only 5 miles from Phoenix and should be able to get a ride quickly- more like 250 miles!
That is what gets me about the so called supporters of illegals- if they really care about the people then they should want to stop this since the people are so abused by the coyotes.

I agree. The government thinks food prices haven’t gone up in thirty years. Inflation? What inflation? Oil prices go up by nearly double, and the inflation figures come out showing no inflation. And everyone knows delivery fees go up every time the cost of transportation goes up. It’s all one big fat lie, to keep the masses under control. IMO

NAFTA has put small Mexican farms out of business, because those small farms cannot compete with the produce from American factory farms.
So those illegals need to migrate north to feed their families.
Those on both sides of the border who profit from NAFTA, are those who have put their fellow human beings through the torments mentioned in the article.

Agreed. And don’t forget....the big promise of NAFTA is that it would end illegal immigration! Just like the big lie of amnesty.
The same for a great many other things, all because of outsourcing and off-shoring .
But then why aren't we rolling in prosperity with all the cheap goods?
Speaking for myself, such things account for a fraction of my monthly income.
The majority of my monthly expenditures, goes to those things that have SHOT UP IN PRICE.
My health insurance has gone from 200 a month to almost 1200 a month in twenty years.
I'm paying almost three times what I paid twenty years ago for a roof over my head.
Groceries cost me much more than I paid 20 years ago.
And so on.
The banksters and their political friends have been gaming the NEW system: the combination of super low interest rates, made possible by the excuse of low “inflation” because of cheap imports.
The benefits of off-shoring and outsourcing, have accrued to those on top via those low interest rates.
We've been hoodwinked.
Those who hold stock should have benefited. Wasn’t that the promise? Is anyone happy with their 401Ks right now? And if they aren’t, isn’t it reasoned to ask why not? Isn’t it reasoned to ask other questions? Hell yes.
We were sold on corporate adventurism. Oh everyone was going to benefit. Corporations would. Gary 401k would. Even workers whose jobs were displaced would. Has this come to pass? No.
Corporations are on the rocks. Gary 401k can’t retire for another five years because his liquidity boiled off. His home is gone. He has no hope of owning one again. Workers who are now service sector drones, are not better off. As you mentioned, the things you must spend money on cost so much more, they can’t afford the trinkets with PROC stamped on the hind side.
This “Free Traitorism” has been shown up for what it was.
1. It gifted China with techology it’s military is using
2. It gifted China with an income stream to put that tech to good (detrimental to us) use
3. It is now destabilizing the world
4. Johnny NextDoor is out of work
5. Johnny NextDoor’s wife is making 60% of what she was ten years ago
6. They couldn’t afford their home, they lost it...
7. Inflation for food, housing, and other essentials has risen steadily
8. States, municipalities, and any other public entity that can are raising fees (TAXES)
9. We are in the process of dismantling our military because we can’t afford it.
10. ditto our space capabilities
11. ditto the sciences
Is that a sucking sound I hear... it sure as hell is.
