You sound just like the guy that says Rand Paul isn’t pro-life enough.
Cuckoo.

And that’s what Sarah is saying everything else is “distractions”, first “close the borders” then we can sit down and settle what to do next....If Obama was serious, He would closed the border first and then called for Amnesty if that is what he truly believed! But he wants Amnesty and open borders

The Amnesty bill from Reagan allowed around 2 mil to become citizens. Bush's failed amnesty bill promised worker permits, a fine, and a very fast track to citizenship. The fines were only $5,000, and further down the very long bill, there were ways to get around the fine or reduce it. They were also allowed the present rights to bring all their family over--Pedro and girlfriend/wife become citizens (don't speak English, but what the heck, we will accommodate them) have a anchor babe who gets automatic citizenship; then they send for grandma, grandpa on both sides, their 4 other children being kept by grandparents, 8 siblings each for Pedro and wife--so far that is 27 people, not counting aunts, uncles, their children, grandchildren, their in-laws--do you begin to get the picture?
In doing Amnesty immediately, which the Dems want in effect for 2012, and which the former bill was going to push, all the bureaus will be overloaded and virtually no criminal checks will be run and definitely no checks on medical dangers will be run. Estimated 12 mil (more like 20 mil) times 10 or 15 kinfolk = what? A minimum of 120 mil non-English speaking, uneducated people, whom O and company will want on the govt. dole so as to have a permanent base of Dem voters.
Yes, this country was built on immigration, but we no longer have the original frontiers to spread in, and no longer have immigrants eager to get here to better themselves by learning English and getting ahead with hard work.
Immigration has to be legal and orderly. No other country in the world has or will stand for the overrun we have.

You certainly didn't disappoint, you're just one of a bunch of Freepers who have claimed to be 'open minded and evenhanded' about Palin.
The rest of us knew you'd rather vote for BHO than soil your vote with her.

I just seen the last bit of it the buy, sell and hold section. All four of them were in shock to say the least. It was like h*ll the media lied about Sarah. They all believe what Sarah was saying and it was from the heart.

When the hell are you going to learn that just because a politician says “no amnesty”, that that means NOTHING. Saying secure the border then we’ll figure out what to do with the 12 million IS amnesty talk. SOunds exactly like McCain

ANd you are full of it!
First, she doesn't have the track record of McCain on this issue.
Second, it was an unequivicol, no excuses answer and you've let your own biases blind you to any objectivity at all where Sarah is concerned.
You proved that tonight for all Freeperdom to see.
All you are doing now is pile-driving your reputation further into the ground.
To: stevestras
Who said this?
To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.

PALIN: Well, that amnesty didnt work in the past, even under our beloved Ronald Reagan, providing amnesty for about 2 million illegal immigrants. That didnt stop the problem, in fact I think it helped perpetuate the problem. And now were up to 11, 13, 16 million people who are here illegally.
Lets learn from historys lessons and realize that amnesty doesnt work.
And we go from there.
I think that talk about amnesty, talk about what needs to happen with those who are here illegally, its almost used as a diversion so we dont have to talk about what are the tools that are needed to secure the border.
We take care of the porous borders first, and then we can deal with the other issues...
REALLY?
To: SoConPubbie
You are sniffing air biscuits. McCain probably could have handled that question better.

The only thing that will satisfy you is if Palin becomes a border guard and shoots illegals while they are crossing the border.
