What the result of our immigration policy looks like
Albuquerque Journal ^ | 5/20/1010 | J. K. McKinney

This was in the ABQ Journal today: CYFD Ignored Rule of Law Albuquerque Journal By By Hal Stratton And Heather Wilson Former Attorney General Former Secretary of CYFD May 20, 2010 Read online at: CYFD Ignored Rule of Law After over 30 years of observing government in New Mexico, it is difficult to be shocked by incompetence or illegal acts on the part of some that serve in state government. However, the recent debacle by the governor and the state Children Youth and Families Department cannot go without comment. This agency reports through its spokesman that in 2006 then secretary of CYFD, Mary-Dale Bolson, "suspended" a duly promulgated regulation that provides that "any time juvenile justice services staff determines a client is a foreign national the staff immediately notifies the bureau of immigration and customs enforcement (ICE)." There's a catch here, however. A duly promulgated regulation has the effect of law and cannot be "suspended" without going through the proper administrative procedure and due process of law. Because CYFD acted as if this regulation did not exist, CYFD failed to notify ICE and released Juan Gonzalez when he was charged with molesting a 3-year-old girl and raping a 6-year-old boy in 2005 when he was found not competent to stand trial. He walked. Then, in 2008 Gonzalez was arrested again for (allegedly) raping a 4-year-old. CYFD again acted as if this regulation didn't exist. When the case fell apart because the 4-year-old and her family disappeared, CYFD didn't call ICE to have Gonzalez deported as they are required to do. They released him back into New Mexico society.

I think liberals are the most hateful, disgusting human beings on the planet. The enable rape, murder, slavery and the whole time call it compassion.

Like the broken window theory in crime, neglecting to enforce laws in the name of Bill Clinton and George Bush’s compassion for Mexican’s has caused a frightful hangover.

I no longer regard them as fellow citizens with whom I differ on some policy issues. I now recognize that they are the fifth column within, the barbarians at the gates, and the KGB informant next door. They are an existential threat. They are the enemy.

Yes. Too many conservatives give the Bush administrations a pass because they would toss off the right buzzwords and rhetoric every once in a while, as they effected utopian globalism at the expense of United States sovereignty and American prosperity and freedom.

The Republicans are merely the toothless end of the snake.

Crush the fanged end first in 2010 and 2012, but crush the whole snake this time.

Some time back, maybe a decade ago, Congress took up the question of doing away with the “Oath of Office”. The question of why has bugged me for all this time. Unless it in some way makes these ner-do-wells vulnerable why even discuss it?

Could it be that the “Founding Fathers”, have come to our rescue again? Isn’t the “Oath of Office” a verbal contract, known as an “Oral Contract”, between the office holder and the public they are suppose to represent? What is the prescribed by law consequence of breaking a very public, very solmn contract with those represented by an officer holder who has sworn to perform them?

This would certainly be a problem for those who want to make up our laws as they go.
