Indeed. Mexican government is far more corrupt than Cuba’s was before Castro. And if it is overthrown, someone like a Castro will come out on top. In latin American countries, something like Caesarism is the default form of government.
The irony of the comparison with the Sudetenland in that in 1848, the number of Mexicans in the Mexican Cession was fewer than 100,000. Probably more Indians than Mexicans. Speaking of Indians, The Spanish colonized New Mexico in the 1590s and California in the 1770’s, and subjugated the local Indians. Their attempts to colonize Texas in the 1700s was thwarted by the Apaches and the Comanches. Texas was so empty of Europeans in 1821 that the newly independent Mexico invited Stephen Austin to establish an Anglo-American colony in Texas in order to form a buffer between Mexico and the Comanches.
I hope that will be enough to save a little of what freedom we have left . I am trying very hard to hope that will be enough.

Very true. I have never seen anything like this before in my life, at least not to such an extreme.And I really don’t think the ballot box will be enough to combat these thugs...
He wants to redistribute wealth to those he thinks it really belongs to and his dims in congress are pressing as hard as they can jam this crap down our throats. If they pass amnesty before November, it will take years to recover.
Remember when Castro emptied Cuba’s prisons and let their criminals float up on Florida beaches during the Carter administration (the Marioletos???, some name like that) and the ensuing huge problems in costs and policing that bunch that Florida incurred until most were rounded up. Mexico’s Calderon is quite happy with his criminal element ending up here and letting the U.S. bear the costs of their imprisonment. What brought this to mind was the recent incarceration for 8 years of an illegal immigrant rapist...and he’d been deported many times before but kept returning. Deport illegal immigrants immediately upon ascertaining their identity. Arizona is 100% right on.
