When the POTUS commits a political gaffe of sufficient political magnitude and import to sufficiently embarasses either Speaker of the house and / or Senate is when the national security threats posed by said POTUS will beome manifest in the public media.

Impeachment and conviction of a sitting President is entirely political; impeachement process may appear borne in legal procedings such in and of themselves are merely a mirage.

You know what I really hate?

Sentances that begin like this:

The Democratic administration's goal...

What's wrong with that?

I guess (and I s'pose I'm merely nit-picking): we don't have a 'Democratic administration'?

I'll concede that we have a 'Democrat administration', but the other really annoys me. In fact: it pisses me off to read such tripe as that as if its fact.

“I have run clean out of my “WTF?” supply. Have to order more.”

This is nothing new. The pre-announcements of launches has been going on and off for decades as has open missile telemetry.

It was all part of the confidence building measures between the Soviets/Russia and US. No one wanted a test-launch to be misinterpreted as a rogue launch. The window time frame allowed each side to move intelligence assets into place to cover the launch.

The Russians like the US used to pre-announce intercontinental ballistic missile launches with a time-window. This allowed the US to pre-position assets such as RC-135 Cobra Ball to cover the launch.
