Did we just hear Connecticut attorney general Richard Blumenthal try to blame local journalist for his misspoken words about his Vietnam war record? When Blumenthal was asked at Tuesdays press conference why he didnt correct published accounts of his Vietnam service, he said:There were a few articles, not many. I am responsible for my own statements
.I cant be responsible for all the articles, I may not even have seen them.

This is bad. He doesn’t know when to keep his mouth shut. And he’s a lawyer and should know better.
“Really, it’s not me!”
*sigh* - Does ANYONE in our leadership take responsibility any more?
So .. How does this explain his “mis-Speaking” on the many videos out there?
That will endear the media to BlumenDodd.
So he’s just a puppet, and we should blame the puppeteer for those WORDS he said?
That’s why he is talking so much. Lawyers can’t explain anything in short sentences. And neither can their secretaries (me for instance).
The New London Day reported Blumenthal called its editors and complained because a reporter had inserted a middle initial into Blumenthal’s name. He has no middle name.
Not to mention he’s on VIDEO saying it!
To paraphrase, it’s the same old dumbocrat LIE, “I didn’t do it and it’s not my fault”
When you blame the press, you have lost.
what’s sad is this man has been the top law enforcement official in ct for 20 years
It's OK. The dim bulbs in Connecticut will vote him in anyway.
Oh...that’s REALLY bad!
Nice. Exactly the meme Democrats are putting out. Blumenthal will win no matter what.
That is how we got to where we are. Bad enough liberals attempt to create self-fulfilling prophecies, when conservatives repeat them it makes it even more difficult for those of us who are trying to purge this state and the country of the dirtbags.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue.
