Sounds like a threat of state-sponsored violence to me, which means that Zer0 will do...zero.
ought to do wonders for tourism in Mexico this year. And gun and ammo sales in the US.
Seems increasingly like Obama Administration is bound and determined to hang Arizona out to dry. Then when violence erupts they will blame the Tea Partys.

Agreed. I would have thought that the AZ Republic would have rejected an ad like this, but perhaps they accepted it in an effort to remind readers what the mindset is of the Mexican Government....not that Arizonans really need any such reminder, of course.
Hopefully, thousands of illegals are “people from Arizona” on their way back to Mexico.

Tourism to Mexico will suffer greatly. GOOD. Any U.S. citizen who goes to Mexico is a SCUMBAG, and if anything happens to them, that’s just one more type of citizen we can do without. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that it is against Free Republic rules for me to give you an honest answer to that question....something about 'openly advocating violence' that I recall from the User Agreement. It's been awhile since I looked at that Agreement so forgive me if I'm in error. It's late here and I don't want to spend time looking that up right now.

Killed because he was in a car from Arizona. No two ways about it. Politically motivated. Perhaps not assassination in a sense of a public official, but definitely targeted because he was from Arizona. There is no doubt in my mind.
perhaps the AZ (stooge) Republic is a tool for someone (Feds?) trying to stir up a race war down AZ way... The only theories that make sense anymore are conspiracy theories....
OK. I agree there is no way I would, at present, travel through Mexico. The hostility towards Americans has deep roots far beyond today’s politics and I relate two family instances of it.
My parents stopped vacationaing in Mexico after viewing video of Mexicans celebrating in the streets of Mexico City as the twin World Trade Towers in New York City collapsed on 9/11/2001. It was very shocking for them, as we all have friends who came from Mexico, and we never recognized any hate or resentment from them.
My father told me this past week about his grandfather, a Welsh collier mining gold in Mexico during the years after WWI.
Pancho Villa had raided their mining camp and rounded up all the miners and their families. These poor people were herded into the mine and Pancho Villa had told them he was going to blow up the mine with dynamite.
My grandmother’s parents and relatives were rescued by U.S. cavalry commanded by General Pershing. Not surprising, my great grandparents, who had just escaped being killed by Mexicans and later the massacre at Coalfield, Colorado, decided it was time to go back to the Empire. My great grandfather later died in a mine collapse on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
I have known many honest, hard working Hispanics whom I would value as co-citizens..but only if they are willing to go through the procedures of earning citizenship. Especially learning English, our language. I am not for diversity, as it weakens our national resolve, I am for UNITY in Citizenship, as it makes us a melting pot of diverse peoples, and a unified citizenship that built this country..
