The "New International Order" is intended to be a revision of the international economic system in favor of Third World countries.
It is a pre-determined set of proposals.
It replaces the Bretton Woods system, which had benefited the leading states that had created it especially the United States.
The "New International Order" was formulated during the 1970s by Third World countries through the UN's Conference on Trade and Development.
It was bent on promoting Third World interests by improving their terms of trade, by increasing development $$assistance, securing developed-country tariff reductions...........and other means.
Good comments Phil.
No pun intended, snicker...
It is remarkable in every aspect. It is even more remarkable to hear the tape of his voice making the speech. When Gregory Peck “acted” this speech, it was no where near the same in its sincerity and delivery. (Additionally, in real life, Peck was a weeny liberal who would never have had the right stuff to aspire to go to West Point, much less make it through and have a distinguished and patriotic career.)
Imagine being a young cadet in that room and hearing this speech live in 1962. They had to know they were witnessing history. This had to have had such a strong effect on them throughout their lives and careers. The cadets who had to endure Obama’s “speech” will not remember so much what he had to say as they will remember how they felt when they heard him spew his BS. They have his number and they know a traitor when they see one (same with Clinton.)
Congratulations on having two wonderful sons who went to West Point. I know first-hand the pride and concerns you had as a parent while they attended. We need more patriotic families like yours! Again, thanks for posting this great speech!
